Clera Windows + Doors Ottawa South

After getting several estimates for window replacements in our home, we decided to go with Clera. They were the most professional and the best price out there.

From scheduling to installation, everything is so smooth. Chris came in for measurement and was very honest about the whole process. results. Highly recommend Clera and its crew.

I'm leaving this because of what this company did to my parents. Absolute worst quality laughable workmanship and the worst service. Complete crooks. This company left them with worse quality windows than the ones they replaced.Clara attempted to replace two windows and when delivered they were the wrong size. They attempted a second replacement but only to be paid their final instalment. In each instance the quality became worse and worse.They stopped answering phone calls. They left my parents with windows that have required additional replacement from another competent company.Also, despite having paid in full for this awful product despite the horrendous quality and empty promises to fix any poor workmanship they quietly sent my elderly parents to collections who registered a negative debt against my father and it has negatively affected his credit (he's a doctor and has never had a bad debt in his life).The photos speak for themselves. This is a large company that gets their foot in the door by offering a competitive price but be warned, the product is so cheaply made, cold, and the workmanship is the worst I've ever seen. Don't take a chance with your investment.Update: less than one year later, the largest window of their installation is cracked. It's now been determined that it was installed with no space against the framing, no insulation and the cheap vinyl frame was insufficient for the window. My parents have contacted another reputable company and will have to pay an additional $4200 to replace this and another poorly functioning window.

We had a sliding glass door installed in our bedroom, and all of the folks at clera provided excellent service. We love the door! Clera did an excellent job keeping it clean and being respectful while on site. I highly recommend Chris and his company.

The estimate: I had a number of contractors through to give me an estimate for a new front door (double doors with 3/4 window) and a basement window. This company showed up when they said they would and provided a competitive price. They were able to provide the widest array of door window options and did an excellent job of matching the colour I was looking for.The installation: the installers showed up on time and did the work. They were professional, cleaned up after themselves well and worked at a good pace (it was winter and they did a double door without the house freezing). The only thing I wish someone had flagged for me was that without instruction otherwise, they installed deadbolts on both doors so now guests never know which door is the main one. They also threw out the parts they didn't use which I would have liked to keep - but I never outright specified so they just did what made sense to them at the time.Follow up: One of the doors is bending inward at the top corner- like how the pages of a book dog ear". I have called the local office and left a message but I'm waiting for a call back.I would use this company again but I would be clear about more of the details. Their estimate and installation processes were better than any of the other companies I called - there were 5 other companies. I'll update when I have a sense of how they stand by their products and service.They contacted me and corrected the door

I can't say enough about Chris and his company. Came out personally, quoted out my windows and Sliding door, and gave me the best deal ever....... His team showed up on time, was very professional, very courteous, and went above and beyond what any other installers do. (and I'm not just saying that) They even cleaned off my driveway just in case they dropped anything on the way in or out. I can't recommend Chris and his company enough!!!!!!!
