Excellent fish and chips! I am partial to halibut and their portion’s are very generous. We travel an hour one way to visit once a month. We have only been disappointed once. We arrived at 3pm and our dinner was literally cold. Best to visit during mealtimes? I do recommend this eatery.

Had the breakfast sandwich there today. An exceptional sandwich with good bacon on multiple layers. You have to sit outside, either in your car or one of the picnic tables available. Nice place to stop for a bite that's economically price.

Really disappointed. I paid for a halibut dinner for 3. I got haddock and when I asked about it, the woman in the back said they 'got a new supplier'. The food was good and my experience would have been 5 stars, but Im just not a fan of haddock and I don't like getting ripped off.

Today was the first time we stopped here on the way home from Orillia. We have heard so much about the fish and chips here for years, but the timing never worked out. Today, the timing was great. We wanted to try it out and got a single fish and chips. The best fish, $12.50. The fish was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The next time we will grab the three fish and chips for the two of us. The fries were not bad, not crispy, but still good. We will be back

We love coming here if we’re out in Bala!Haddock now a days seems to be the better deal than halibut as you get more fish inside the breading! Breading is non oily crispy and fish is fresh, always served hot! Wish the coleslaw cups were a bit bigger, all in all, best fish and chips hands down!

Picked up fish and chips from the apparently’great’ fish and chips stand. Fish was a child’s portion size and fries were reheat and not taste worthy. Guess Mrs H not there to supervise Friday afternoon! Would not recommend and will definitely not go back

Drove from Orillia to experience the awesome fish & chips as advertised on TV, they were okay, definitely nothing to rave about as indicated on the TV advertisement. Glad I went to experience it but never to return. Not that they were bad but not worth the one hour drive. Also if I had of noticed it was take-out only we wouldn’t have bothered. It says take-out on the intranet but not on the TV. Not worth the drive when we have the best fish & chip restaurant right here in town with BOUNTY. Even if it was dine in I will take a hard pass on this place. Not really into porta potties either, it’s 2023. I don’t recommend this place.

What a surprise! We were driving and decided to stop for lunch! Glad we made it! Food is delicious and staff is so friendly! Our fish and chips was delicious! Also the hot dog! Great outdoor seating area! Totally recommend!
