I have had two interactions at Lasyds and would happily go there again. When I bought my tap shoes the young woman working there was very patient, gave as much information as possible, and I felt free to take as long as I needed to make the decision. After a short time, the new shoes, which I love, revealed a defect. I sent an e-mail with pictures of the defect and received a response almost immediately even though it was after store hours. The owner communicated with the company and arranged for me to either have my shoe repaired or to give me a new pair. No fuss, no hassle. Problem solved in under 24 hours. Very professional store.

Had the most welcoming customer service today. I wasn't sure what custumes to buy as it is my kids first ballet dance lessons.The lady that attended to me advised me to wait after the first class to see what the other kids have on or what the instructor recommends.She was warm and joked with my kids even though they were about closing for the day. I didn't feel rushed at all.Absolutely great customer service!

Had called around to a couple dance stores to ask their return policy on shoes as I had to try on different shoes with a costume for a choreographer to approve. This was one store that said they would return shoes within 10 days if they weren’t used. Maybe I misunderstood what they meant by used I didn’t know I couldn’t try them on at home with a costume to see how it worked. As they wouldn’t return them when I can back 2 days later to return them. They wouldn’t even exchange them. I had told the lady when I was buying them that I needed to see if the choreographer liked them and asked their return policy. If I knew I couldn’t even try them on at home (as I guess you need a special floor to try them on) or even exchange them I would not have purchased them! I don’t need these shoes as we went with another option. I won’t ever use them and they wouldn’t even let me exchange them for ones that I would use. I tried them on, even wore tights with the shoes and I didn’t know I needed a special floor in order to return them. Just ridiculous. If that’s the case maybe be more specific about your return policy and say “you literally can’t even try them on at home we if you want a chance to return them”. There was wear on the bottom very minor, but they are obviously easily worn as I tried them on once with a customer??? Would’ve been nice to have a warning that this was the case or I wouldn’t have even tried them on at home or bought them to risk that. Next time just order on Amazon, same pair, half the price and you can actually return them.Update: The customer service manager called me and asked me what I would like (after sending picture to her) before, I would like to note that my mom had gone in to pretend to try on shoes to see if others were marked up on the bottom the same as mine were. And she found a couple from the ones she tried on.Owner called and told me told me she can’t resell the shoes. She said she only sells shoes in perfect condition (which is a lie because I verified that’s not the case. I would’ve had to dance for WEEKS in these shoes to have the markings on the bottom that they do. It’s my fault for not checking them before purchase I was in a rush. So I take accountability for that. She asked what I wanted after a week of back and forth knowing I wanted a refund and at the very least an exchange for shoes I could actually use. And she kept saying she couldn’t resell them but asked what I wanted. She was a waist of time. I could’ve sold the shoes in the amount of time she waisted with me. They are scamming people selling them shoes that are used and saying they are not. I confirmed this by having my mom take buy and try on some shoes and confirmed multiple pairs were used and had marks on the bottom like the ones I bought. I hung up as she’s not waisting any more of my time. What else could she possibleMean to offer me if she wouldn’t return or exchange the shoes????

Extremely happy with my first experience here. Had to buy ballet gear for a my 5 year old twins, with their 2 year old brother in tow. Staff/owner were all GREAT. So great. Outings with 3 small, extremely rambunctious boys are difficult. They made it as easy as possible here. And I got what I needed too! I will be back!

Even though it was a super busy day and the lines were crazy, staff helped everyone in a timely manner. My girls got exactly what they needed and we never felt rushed. I liked that our helper asked my children how their footwear felt and not me making them feel important and valued. Definitely coming back.

This is an excellent place to come. I have never had a bad experience buying from them since my daughter started dance last year. The staff are very helpful and friendly. They are knowledgeable about their products. I highly recommend them.

I was apprehensive to visit this dance store reading some of the reviews.I went to get my 2.5 yr old fitted for ballet shoes etc and the service I received was excellent. The lady who helped us was friendly, very knowledgeable & really made me feel welcome. The other staff working were great too, they were helping the many others in this busy store.We will definitely be visiting again in the future

I was very impressed with our experience here! The staff/team were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Great selection from uniforms, to shoes and accessories - I couldn't imagine not coming here to find what you're looking for - amazingly beautiful selections and sizes stocked!! Very exciting to start our dance journey!

The customer service was THE definition of bare minimum. Went in looking for a pair of shoes. The selection was terrible, which is not an issue, but when people come in looking to spend around $170 on a pair of shoes and I didn’t have what they wanted, I would maybe ask what they want, maybe even offer to order some in. All I got was a “good luck, you’re going to need it.”…

Very knowledgeable staff and great selection. We only went on for 1 item but will be back.
