Great service out of Carp Airport

I have never met Chris Adams. before he responded to our add to sell our 1975 Cessna 172. We sent pictures of the plane inside and out, as well as pictures inside the wings. After which he put $35,000(the agreed sales price) in escrow, which he controlled. He expected me to fly the plane from Florida to Canada for inspection, and THEN decide if he would purchase the plane. I gave him the phone number of the I/A who just annualed the airplane, who said it fly's well, but of course needs interior, paint, and has old radios. All of which were covered BEFORE Mr. Adams signed the AS IS sales agreement. After he realized I would not fly the plane 1000 miles out of the country without payment he cancelled the sales agreement.I don't know Mr. Adams' intentions once the plane was flown to Canada but seller beware.Stanley Pure
