Went there to donate my hair for ground-breaking cancer research at CHEO, empower kids and youth going through cancer treatments. Christopher is a member of the board for Hair Donations Ottawa and an all around great guy.It was an amazing experience! Kings Own Barbershop was the perfect choice for this adventure. Chris is a fantastic barber, providing an exceptional service and outstanding haircut after the initial donation.I absolutely will go back!!

Came here for the first time a few years ago and was very impressed. Took me a while to come back due to moving around, but plan to keep going to Chris now that I’m back in Ottawa. No one else can really compare. Super personable, cares about his customers and does an amazing job. True pro!

I just moved to the city and hadn’t gotten my hair trimmed or styled in roughly a year. Chris tamed the beast and gave me an absolutely incredible cut, just in time for a wedding this weekend. Amazing service, conversation, and atmosphere. Highly recommended!

This barbershop has the best vibes in Ottawa. Great atmosphere. Very clean. Great music. The Owner Chris is very polite and patient and caring.Will definitely be coming back for my next cut

Just moved to the area and needed a fresh cut found kings own barber on google and thought I’d give Chris a shot for the first time and I’m not disappointed! Great conversation with Chris and a very nice shop! Chris has great costumer service unlike some other shops in town! I will forsure be back! Beyond the excellent technical skills, what makes Chris and the King's Own Barbershop stand out is the care for people. Chris is honest, amicable, and genuinely wants to give you a great cut. Even outside of the shop, his care for the local community through his philanthropy is commendable.Of course, Chris is also a great barber. Gave recommendations for suitable styles and executed them perfectly.Would strongly recommend; look forward to returning!
