Small town hospitality for people with big appetites. The food is always excellent and comes out in a timely manner. The staff are always very friendly, welcoming, and quick to fill your coffee. I've seen them welcome customers in and fire up the grill after closing hours.The dining area is small but cozy, as the restaurant is located in a trailer on the east side of the hotel. The menu offers typical diner menu items, which are always cooked to perfection.Stop by and try some classic bacon eggs and home fries for breakfast, or a Reuben for lunch (my personal favourite).

The guy working here was super nice and the food came at lighting speed! He also has the cutest dog! The menu was small, maybe because we were there at a weird time but it was a good place to stop in for a bite to eat and the food and company was good!

Rooms are run down. This place needs to be renovated. The restaurant is closed. If you can, stay at the Pickle Lake Hotel. Their restaurant is good and the rooms are half decent..

Pickle lake is a blast! Work hard play hard here too. Everyone out here is really friendly...there are lots of police here and that always good right.Fishing working hiking painting playing guitar at night by a fire singing old songs...the nature is most welcomed from the city.what r u waiting? Come over an say hi to Dave or Levi or myself...start here Finnish here type of place.

Rooms are semi clean. First one they showed me had pet hair and only one outlet worked. Second room was much better. Cleaning staff are very friendly and helpful. Office hours are sporadic. Restaurant is very reasonably priced and tasty.

In response to the complaint of the door not being answered on the 9th of February. I would have responded sooner if I had seen the post. That day and the previous day,the hotel had no vacancies. There was a No Vacancy sign posted as well. Im not certain why it was not clearly visible,but it was present. I have made note of this and will be sure to post more signage in the future to avoid any confusion. During our busy winter road season,and with additional construction north of here,it is best to call or email to insure that there are vacancies and you have a reservation. Thank you

The food is quite good and the servers are good but it's hard to give more than 3 starts to a drafty trailer unit. It would be really nice if they rebuilt something a little more substantial.

Friendly staff. Good enough food to enjoy. Sat on the chair with a duct tape... Took me a long time to get rid of glue from my pants and a lot of butter!
