Foot Notes Dance Studio

My Fiance and I took a level 1 ballroom course at Foot Notes to prepare for our wedding and we both had a wonderful experience! The class had people of many different skill levels in it but the instructor, Cynthia, was amazing and did great offering personal instruction to all the couples. She was very supportive and she made the class so much fun!I would recommend this studio to dancers of any skill level or first-timers like us, we will be back after our wedding to keep learning!Joel

Excellent dance studio for adult social and ballroom dance. Great instructors. Fun crowd. The gentlemen are taught how to lead properly on the dance floor. Footnotes's practice dances are a great way to learn how to manage traffic on a crowded dance floor. Thanks to Footnotes. I have the training and confidence to step out onto any dance floor, anywhere.

As a child and young adult, I could never imagined how much joy I would experience from dance. Between toxic masculinity, and internalized homophobia, my own insecurity always stopped from being more comfortable in my body, and around others. This studio, and it's classes, create a welcoming environment where I can express myself, and learn to create a safe space for myself in leading a dance. Prices are very reasonable and the teachers are very patient and kind. Looking forward to other classes.

Very fun! Instructors are helpful and patient. I'm not a very experienced dancer, but really enjoy the lessons and feel like I learn a lot. Outside of classes, they have dance nights/ parties. I attended one at Halloween with some friends and had a blast! Would highly recommend!

We saw John for private lessons so we could feel confident on the dance floor at our wedding. He was so patient and great help for us beginners. We now feel confident and excited to step on that dance floor! Thanks for helping us get ready for our special day :)

My fiance and I did a quick google search looking for private dance lessons so we could learn the waltz for our wedding. We were really happy with the lessons we received and will continue to come to Foots Notes to continue our new found love for ballroom dance!If your unsure of who to go with, like i was. Prior to our wedding my husband and I booked dance lessons at Foot Notes Dance Studio. Neither of us have any dance experience and thought that it would be fun to try, we chose a wedding package that included both group dance lessons and private lessons. We first took the group lessons and learned the basics of four types of ballroom dance before moving onto our private lessons. John was an excellent teacher - he was extremely patient, kind, and encouraging. He also customized our dance for us to fit our song choice and our skill level.We had a lot of fun during our weekly dance lessons and began to look forward to them as mini dates" where we could spend time together while also learning something new. Foot-Notes is open again - Yah !!! My new wife and I took our first lesson last Wednesday and had a magical time. The facilities and instruction are outstanding. We will now be life long dancers!

We took lessons from John to prepare for our wedding, and he is the quintessential dance teacher. Our first dance was a hit (no Grade 8 shuffle!) It also made for great photos. Cynthia made the booking process easy, and all we had to do was show up. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience with Foot Notes and highly recommend!

I found the instruction at Foot Notes, which was provided by Johnathan, to be effective and enjoyable. Well worth the hour fee.My perspective is from that of a very inexperienced dancer with two left feet. The private lesson with my spouse was low stress yet effective and I am now looking to getting out there if or when the gathering restrictions are reduced.
