Very nice walkabout around this space..if you have a Gatineau Library card, you can access their outdoor centre (Centre Plein Air resources) Summer kayaking, swimming (small beach) Winter cross country skying and snowshoeing..Accessible by bus as well...pack a lunch and water go!! No food places on site, washrooms ate at the center.39 Freeman or Plateau STO bus bring you right there!

Great place to have a picnic and dip in some water on a hot summer day! The place is usually not too busy but can get pretty packed when it is. You can bring your own canoe or kayak, and also, they have pre installed bbq on site. A nice place to bring the kids too

We always love I’m going to this place and relaxing either on the paddleboard or just around the lake walking around.The people around here are extremely friendly. We will most definitely keep coming back here every summer and enjoying the weather. I’ll obviously recommend this place to anyone willing to have a good time.

Lac Leamy is always a great place to visit. Not far from Ottawa, I can bring my paddleboard here almost all year round to watch the sunrise. At Lac Leamy there is a beach, picnic tables, a park, walking/biking trails, and restaurants, it's also incredibly family-friendly with fun to be found for all ages. Tons of parking available for free, so you won't go wrong if you choose to spend some time here! :)

Clearer water than swimming spots in Ottawa. Not much crowded. Clean and lush.

What a delightfully beautiful surprise. My daughter brought me out to the fireworks today. Every year in August is the Fireworks competition and they were loud and beautiful. Definitely going back again. Thank you Lac Leamy Casino for such a fun experience
