I come here for the carnitas and Valentino. Staff are always nice to me and they sometimes sell cactusI really love there carnitas. You can find lots of hot sauce here.

Love this place. I can find my empanadas disc and a lot of the seasoning that I like to use / the Latin community uses in cooking.They also sell cooked food I’ve had the Colombian empanadas which are really good and were made fresh to order.Service is always good and workers are friendly.

Awesome little latin market. They have tons of shelf foods and frozen/fridge foods. They have authentic cooking tools. The real hidden gem here is the hot food though. At the back of the shop is authentic latin foods from several different regions and it is all FANTASTIC.

One of my big #keto joys is chiccorines con carne (not that styrofoam-like snack you find in bags in the chips & pretzel aisle). When traveling, I'm always on the lookout for Latin American grocery stores for a flavor blast when snacking and cooking.Paraiso Tropical South delivers what I needed: an extensive hot foods menu, my beloved chiccorines, and aisle after aisle of everything from cane sugar to dulce de leche.It's near to Whyte Ave, for walking, and the ETS bus lines, for when I wee bit lazier. All in all, a good resource to have in your back pocket.

A really nice store with a wide selection of products at good prices.The best part is the staff, super friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to find a particular kind of chili in the back for me where they could have just said that there was none on the shelves.A great shop!

Popped in for a quick bite and wasn’t disappointed. Ate chicken flautas and a Chilean empanada in their tidy cafe zone. Delicious!
