Fairly good bakery. I tried regular croissant, pistachio chocolate croissant, and a cherry clapoutis. The regular croissants were good and wholesome, but the other two had too much sugar. For this reason, I'd say they are inedible unless you've been starving yourself.

Wow! I was very impressed with all the pastries I purchased from this shop!I visited them at late night hungry, and bought quite some pastries.I did have lower expectations as it was late at night and some of them could have gone dry, but I was very surprised and impressed by their pastries.I also had them over few days and they were still in good quality and taste after a day or two old100% delicious and satisfactory in my opinion, I would visit this place again.

I recently visited Mamie Clafoutis coffee shop and was impressed by their delicious bakery treats. The croissants, muffins, and other pastries were all beautifully baked and tasted fresh. However, I was a bit disappointed with the tea that I ordered. While it was okay, I feel it could have been made better. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The decor is charming and adds to the overall ambiance of the place.

We went to this place on Sunday for coffee and pastries and after 10 or 15 minutes I needed to use the washroom, I approached a staff member to ask for the washroom and they told me they were out of order; he just apologized but he didn’t give me another option, all he told me was “I think they haven’t cleaned them and you can’t use them”. One would think that in a place with the prices they have and a capacity of 30/40 they would care a bit more to at least have a washroom available for customers or in the worst case at least offer the staff one for customers use but instead they put the most ridiculous sign at the door to prevent you from using them.Although the staff person told me they weren’t in working order at some point I really had to gl to the washroom and it turns out one of them was actually in working condition although it had no toilet paper or paper towel whatsoever, so, I guess they just don’t care enough about this.Also, the same person came that told me about the washroom came to tell us at 5:20 pm that they were closing in 15 minutes, which means that they close around 5:30 pm instead of 6 as it on Google maps, it would be helpful if they kept the work hours up to date.

This whole operation was very disappointing.I got a strawberry danish that was primarily rhubarb with one piece of strawberry, it was so disgusting and under cooked that I just threw it out. I also got a sandwich that was so dry I could hardly chew it. The bread seemed stale. The coffee was rancid and the Clafoutis was so bland I might as well have been eating chalk. On top of the food being a disaster, the staff was so disorganized and unobservant that I and multiple other customers were not served until we actually had to directly tell a worker. On top of that, the staff seemed to be rude to not just customers but each other as well. Overall it seems to boil down to a problem of incompetent management. They seem to constantly be looking for new workers which is never a good sign, and the employees they do have, run around like chickens with out heads. Who ever is in charge of that establishment is clearly not fit to be in charge of anyone. I will never be setting foot in that foul mismanaged poor excuse for a bakery/cafe ever again. I was actually kind of excited to go because I had heard from friends that was authentically french. But if that means it’s run like this then I will be staying far away

2023-04-08: I was asked if I wanted my pastry for here and I said yes. I was then handed the pastry in a paper bag. I then reminded that the order was for here. She just handed me a plate. Result in picture... Really?In 2020: Atmosphere: cute. Full of life. Smiling and friendly staff. Croque Monsieur not the greatest.""

Excellent place for a coffee and a pastry. I think it is the best in Ottawa. I don't give them 5 because they close too early! We had to leave the patio at 5:30 and it is summer...a pitty they do not consider to stay open for longer hours.
