Houses here are pretty cool. Good for those who have private cars, If you have to get to work or nearby places. Far from bus stop for those who wanna go by public trans.

Recently we bought a townhouse at Highcrest (Luxury living) and apart from all the good reviews out here there are few issues that no one wants to talk about (maybe that would devalue their property):-Issue#1: Developer (Joe Dhaliwal - Mainland Developments) have never shown professionalism in their work or commitments that affected many homeowners in this complex (just ask them before buying)-Issue#2: To get your deficiencies done within a year's period and getting hold of the contractor or developer is like finding a needle in a haystack. Took me forever to get mine done.Issue#3: THIS IS A BIG ONE. In their ads, they say about amenity room with gym and all that great stuff but guess what since 2013 we have never been able to use this room OR the children play area which has not been completed yet. Strata is going after them every time but had no luck to get them set up the play area OR the fix the known issues in the amenity room (note: strata takes the responsibility on what they want to do with the room--will add gym and entertainment area very soon).Issue#4: There are nails everywhere around the complex because they have so many of their construction people around dropping nails and never cleaning them up.Issue#5: Built quality is good don't get me wrong however it is not 'Luxurious' as they advertise in their ads around the complex or social media.In my experience (owner since 6 months) I am happy with my place but not very excited/thrilled because of these 5 reasons. If the builder kept his commitments and shown professionalism in this work then he would have support from all of the homeowners for his future projects.If you just want to get in Fraser Heights area for under 600$K then this would be a decent start.
