Harry's Fish & Chips
been going to Harrys for many years. when Ivan closed the doors many were very sad. Then new owners took over and you would expect it to be a miracle. Bought haddock and chips on Friday July 7th 2023 and enjoyed it at home until later in the night when i was sick as a dog. Felt like the haddock was way more fishy than usual but ate it anyway. wont be going there again

The best fish and chips in Hamilton. Period.Beautiful lightly battered, pieces of Halibut. French fries cooked to a golden, crisp, perfection. The service was excellent, waitress was very nice, and food arrived quickly.Mushy peas were very good, but there was far too much for a single supper. The only disappointment was the coleslaw, which was simply thinly diced cabbage and Hellmans mayo.

First time was tonight and I had the fish and chips, now it was ok I found it abit small in portion size. It was a little greasy.the coleslaw was good but what I did not like was 1.50 per can of coke. Alot of other places it is bottomless. Would I go back? Maybe to give it another chance.

Best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Batter is perfectly light so it’s not too greasy. Service was very friendly and inside is cozy. Will go back soon

Last evening was my first visit since the new ownership and it was as good as it ever was! What a delight to see the quality maintained. The haddock special was outstanding.

Wow has this place ever gone down hill since being taken over by new owners. First off way over priced and the wait to get food is way to long. The owner look like his head is spinning and he doesn't know which way is up or down. Fish is paper thin as well. Forgot an item as well. So we will not be going back again ever.

Best fish n' chips in Hamilton. The fish batter is excellent. Thin but not too thin, flakey, and just the right amount of crunch. Big piece of fish that melts in your mouth. Fries are hand-cut and cooked perfectly. Tartar isn't homemade but sometimes that's a good thing depending on the recipe.

Great family-owned local eatery carrying on the tradition (and wonderful recipes!) of the founder and original owner. A Hamilton legend... definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of perfectly deep fried fish/seafood and fresh-cut fries!
