Walked in, first impression was a good one, very clean bright environment. We were greated and seated immediately, with tasty coffee very short to follow. Ordered the big breakfast special, bacon, eggs, hash, and pancakes. Everything was good, was more food than I can eat. At this price it's hard to beat this huge 3 egg breakfast.Staff were friendly and made me feel like I was right at home. If you live or work on Eastside I suggest checking this little spot out.

Love having Sunset Grill in Red Deer! Finally! The owner and ALL staff make you feel welcome every time! I love coming with my family for our Sunday Breakfast/Brunch, home fries are the bomb! If you want to watch your calories there’s really good options, hubby loves the hollandaise sauce, kids love too! Great job! See you again soon ❤️

We’ve been to this location a couple of times already and have been blessed with amazing service, personal care and splendid food. Our servers today, Ashton and Alisha, were absolutely fantastic. They filled the room with a vibrant energy and even remembered who we were from awhile back. We will definitely be returning!

Overall not impressed. Waited 45 minutes for the food. The western omelette was over cooked, the bread was dried out, and the French toast lacked flavour/dried out as well. The service I was sub par. Wait for 15 minutes for a refill. Waited 20 minutes to place order. I would not recommend this place for breakfast. Also we were still hungry after eating, portion sizes were terrible. Better off going to Phil’s downtown.

Amazing first experience here. We made a skip order and one of our items was incorrect, so I called in and they were delightful. Super understanding and apologetic, and they reimbursed me. Once I got my corrected order the food was also amazing. Will definitely be coming back:)

Wonderful staff (including the Head Chef). I have never been to a restaurant where the employees worked so hard to ensure your experience was a positive one.The food was prepared and served quickly, and was absolutely delicious. The only issue, is that the portion size was fairly large and I was unable to finish my meal (which is something I truly can't complain about). Fantastic little breakfast restaurant.

Service was extremely slow…all young servers. Food was meh! I had the waffle that just fell apart in pieces and was tasteless. We Had to ask for the sticky table to be re-wiped. Had to send back a glass that was given to us for our drink, as it was cracked right up to the rim. Ya just not my fav, so I’ll probably go elsewhere next time.

Terrible on toast, slow service, was not busy. Couldn't be bothered to boil water for tea, came out tap water hot, twice. Took over 45min for just eggs, the toast wasn't toast, it was white bread with no colour on it, like it was waved in the general vicinity of a toaster. F-, would not go again.Based on the staff manager's reply, also confused, about which party this review was part of, (Or deliberately trying to throw shade) as my only interaction with the server was Sorry

The staff were super friendly, our waitress was very kind and courteous. The interior is very open and quite loud when it’s busy as it was when we were there. The food was okay if I’m being honest, maybe it’s better when not as busy. You can tell it’s all line style cooking as some of the food was nice and hot and some was “warm” at best so very uneven temps on the same plate. Overall not bad, im sure with time it will get better and the pricing is decent
