Concrete Blonde Hair and Body

My first time to Concrete Blonde but for sure not the last. I had foils done and a haircut and style. The best hair cut I ever had!!! I picked Melissa since she is called the shorthair queen in one of the pictures and she owns this title!Thank you so much the whole experience including booking and reception was extraordinary!

Super friendly. Went for an ear piercing, technician was super professional and easy to talk to. Received an email with info on aftercare and when the earring wouldn't unscrew from the posts after 6 weeks, made an appointment and the technician helped unscrew it for free. Excellent customer care!

It was a great experience, the hair tech (Rebecca I believe her name was) did an amazing job when it came to the balayage and dying my hair. It turned out amazing! One of the other techs had a free minute so she styled my hair as well. It was the first time for me actually getting my hair dyed, and the girls really made it feel special. When I need to go for a hair appointment again, I will be going back. Thanks again!

I was not very happy with my experience. The receptionist did not book all the services, and I had to wait to get my haircut. The hair stylist was in a rush, and she did not do a good job. This is sad. She could have said she couldn't make it or asked a colleague to do it. I believe they care more about the money than customer satisfaction.This is in response to Chad:Thank you for taking the time to read my review and provide a quick response.I feel your message is a bit intimidating and makes me feel uncomfortable; however I would like to respond to your note.First, I never mistreated anyone. In fact, I felt mistreated and disrespected.Second, about the tip, there were others involved in the service not just the stylist. I’ve been going to Concrete Blonde for several years, and in fact have an appointment tomorrow that I’m excited about. I have always wanted to take a minute to provide a review but get so busy, however want to do so now. From the moment I walk in the door to the time I make payment I’m treated like a VIP. Reception is friendly and Brooklyn, who has been my stylist for years always leaves me feeling beautiful. Everyone is professional, accommodating and knows the meaning of good customer service. I never hesitate recommending Concrete Blonde.

I’ve been visiting concrete since they were at their old location and the last two visits have been nothing less than disappointing. My last visit, my stylist was very friendly however the cut ended up being uneven. I had a balance outstanding on a gift card so I decided to try visiting again and seeing another stylist however that was a disaster. I booked my appointment the Friday before Christmas to get a cut and style ahead of the holiday weekend and from the moment I met my stylist, she did not seem enthused. She did not introduce herself, barely spoke to me the entire appointment and was clearly more concerned about her other client that was having a color done. Starting from the hair wash, she did not bother to check if I was seated comfortably and started to wash my hair whilst my neck was propped uncomfortably against the sink and was causing me pain. When we went over for the cut, there was no consultation on the length being cut off and the amount cut off was significantly more than I wanted. She just started cutting and then straight to the blow dry. Heat was extremely high on the dry and it felt as though my scalp was being burnt. I was not asked how I wanted my hair styled and had to ask for my hair to be styled a certain way, not sure I would’ve had a style done if I didn’t ask. Additionally, throughout the appointment, there was barely any product being used which is half the reason I went to concrete. At the end of the appointment, I wasn’t even shown my cut in the mirror, I was told she was done and they would help me at the front. The cut and style was so basic and not what I would expect for a senior stylist and the experience all together was just terrible. When I went to the front to pay, I was just handed the machine to tap my card and I was so shocked by the entire experience at that point that I forgot that I even had a gift card to use which will likely go to waste now. I chose to go to a higher end salon like concrete for the experience and service and was treated with far less than what I would experience at a chain salon. I will no longer be recommending concrete to anyone and would avoid going here if you can.

This was my second time at concrete! I had an appointment yesterday and truly love my hair as there’s nothing I wouldn’t change. (Full foil, haircut and style) Chelsey did an amazing job and I will definitely be sticking with her. She managed my hair really well honestly the best anyone has in a long time. (My hair is thick and naturally curly so I always feel bad for the time commitment). I 100% recommend booking in with Chelsey!

I haven't cut my hair in 5 years. I was anxious about the end result and I had no reason to be! My stylist cut in some gorgeous face framing layers, took off the dead ends and matched my hair style to the hopeful picture I brought in. I couldn't possibly ask for more! :)Gorgeous salon, great staff, agreeable prices- I def recommend and will be a return customer!!

I booked a haircut for today as a birthday treat to myself. I was excited, as a busy working mom I don’t have much time to treat myself. I got there and was told stylist was running about 10 minutes behind, but was more like 15-20 minutes. Haircut is fine, no issues with the cut itself, but, right after blow drying my hair I was told by my stylist that she would love to curl and style my hair for me but her next appointment had arrived. $78 with tip for a cut and blow dry, feeling totally ripped off. When did styling the new cut become at the discretion of the stylist and not part of the cut itself. Super disappointing birthday treat.
