About the Business
Queen Square | City of Saint John, New Brunswick | Just a few blocks south of its counterpart, King’s Square, Queen Square also features footpaths shaped in an X pattern and features mature trees for shade. Queen Square was once one of the most fashionable districts in the City. The homes were built by wealthy citizens following the Great Fire of 1877. A monument of Samuel de Champlain was erected to mark the 300th anniversary of his naming the St. John River. On Sundays between May and October, Queen Square is home to a popular open-air farmers’ market.

It's such a Gorgeous and historical place, in the center of up town Saint John. There are historical grave sites, live bands in the summer, surrounded by historical buildings.

Visited the Queen Street Farmer's Market. Great little market on Sunday's (when the City Market is closed). Locals produce, food, arts and crafts plus live music. Also close to the new Container Village on the waterfront.

Very clean, beautiful place to sit and spend some time in the evening.They have the benches with chess boards which is a neat addition

Large open park in the centre of St John; many benches and pathways to walk. There's a statue of Champlain right in the middle. There's usually a farmers market here, but unfortunately we missed it this time around.

Lovely park with really great views and all kinds of activities that are held here in the summer and I will be attending more events held here. Its always a great time. This is a great park to bring your pets and children to play as well. The sites are very beautiful and I really enjoy this park as it is such a peaceful and quiet environment for any one.
