Shanty Bay Go-Karts

This has been my favorite Go-Karting track for years now !. Staff is friendly and I love the set up of the track and how there is a little bridge you go over and not just driving in circles. Go-Karts are quick and I still haven't been to a place that comes close to this one.

I love this place. I have never go-karted there, but we play mini putt every year. We call it The Ruins, and it has an ambiance all it's own. I don't think it would be great for little kids, as it's hard (debris, obstacles, water if rained recently) but perfect for adults. It's a hard course. No course alterations when playing (ie. clearing things), out of bounds is a stroke penalty, 6 stroke limit per hole. I hope they never try to fix or upkeep, I love it the way it is. And that's not sarcastic. It's the best mini-putt going for teens/adults.

The track is a lot of fun for all ages, the cars aren’t amazing they all have a different speed they go to but over all it is a lot of fun for everyone!! The man who owns this place is so nice he is funny and is always making sure you are having a good time (even though it’s hard to not) I definitely recommend going here!

Nice place the owner was very nice, and gave us a great deal on the go karts. The track was actually better than I thought it would be, I definitely would recommend this place to friends and family. We first went the the go karts at blue mountain what a waste of time and gas, the owner was a not that friendly. He didn't smile, he didn't even try to give us a better deal considering only one kid was on the track and I could bet it was one of his kids Lol, don't go there.

Had a blast here. The staff are friendly. The course is quite fun. Not your typical 8 track. Lots of twists, turns, ramps and straight aways. It's pricey though, but I guess there's a lot to pay for. Lots of gokarts, singles and doubles karts. If you're passing through, worth dropping in for a few laps.

Excellent go kart track! The kids had a blast! We return the next day because the kids couldn’t stop talking about how much fun they had.The owner takes extreme care to ensure that everybody safe. He takes a little longer to explain the safety rules, but you can see that safety is more important to him than making money. He told me “he just wants to see the kids have fun and be safe”Don’t go for the mini putt, but definitely go for the go carts! You won’t be disappointed!

Omg this place is actually the best! The owner is really sweet and he treats u like a friend from the first time u see him! The prices are great for the amount of time u will be on the go karts! The karts are really fun and if u are going there for the first time, make sure u go on the red ones first because the black ones r really fast! Honestly this place is just the best and it will really make ur day! Definitely recommend this place not just for kids for the whole family!

I went here and I can say that the track was nice and it was fun until I bought more tickets and got a new kart. It was acting weird for steering and on the track I ended up trying to turn left but the steering did not work. I ended up crashing but I didn't injure myself (luckily). I then told several workers and they refused to change my kart because they didn't see anything wrong with it. I found it as poor service, but that wasn't all that happened. I proceeded to go around a few more times. This time when I was on the previous turn where I had crashed, I went to turn and I hit the brakes before the turn, though to only find they weren't properly functioning. I then tried to turn as a last resort and what do you know, the steering wasnt working either. I then crashed and injured myself badly (seatbelt cut into my neck and metal rod stabbed foot) and after that I then said there was something wrong with the kart and they still denied anything wrong with the kart. Soon after as I was waiting for my friends to finish, I saw an employee try the kart and sure enough, he crashed as well. At this moment I expected him to come up to me and apologize but he didn't. I wish I could give a better review because without what happened, it could easily be a 5/5.I give it a 2/5 because while the tracks are still fun to be on for the whole family, the employees were acting ignorant to large issues, and don't know the main rule while working a job with consumers; The customer is always right." I hope this place improves and I would like to come back here

Nabil was one of the most annoying individuals I've had to deal when purchasing something. There were two of us that impulsively got off the highway to do a few simple laps on the Go Karts. We didn't have much time so all we wanted was 3 laps each...Nabil did not want us to have only these 3 laps each as he quite aggressively tried to sell us a couples pack for 6 laps each. We told him we only wanted 3, and he still tried to peddle his deals". I think he would be a great car salesman as we almost purchased this "deal" only to shut him up. After the THIRD TIME we told him we didn't want 6 laps each

Was a great track - a little older and the karts are older but everything worked fine. One of the nicer tracks I have been on. Owner was awesome - really liked to promote and talk up his track but that's what proud owners and sales people do - you take it with a grain of salt and enjoy the ride!
