Temple Lodge
Lodge itself is great, don't have to go to the frontside lodge for lunch if you don't want to. Or need a washroom break.Went to the restaurant upstairs, prices are expensive for what you get. But that is expected at a ski hill.Ordered the Duck Confit Baguette, it was very good. But definitely not as filling as most would like.Service was surprisingly good too.

Nice patio, even in the winter. The food was good, especially the poutine, and it had a nice atmosphere, though they where only playing country music.

If you go to The Lake, temple lodge is a mandatory pit stop on the back side.Don't put potato chips in hoods and helmets of strangers because they will involuntarily feed the wild life and thats against the law in a national park.

Expensive, but the patio, sun and view made it a great place for lunch on the hill! $5.50 for an iced tea as an example. Also request tips during check out of a cafeteria style lunch is a bit over the top. Food is decent, selection is decent particularly considering the location.

Perfect for a stop over lunch. For us on a Friday, was not as busy as the restaurants at the base. (Which we did on a Thursday) Burgers are good and tasty. Atmosphere is super relaxed. No servers. Gotta get your own food at the cafe’s.

Can't describe the inside as I only stopped to take a breather on the outside tables. That said, the views from the deck were excellent .

Thank you for having good resources for food and rest on the mountain! Busy but able to find a table. Had the veggie chilli and pizza. Decent fare. Everyone enjoyed themselves and hit the hills refueled.

The Temple Lodge is a must to experience at Lake Louis. We enjoyed the Klondike Chili and hot chocolate.

The men's bathroom smelled really bad all day.I hope that was just today an not a normal thing. First thing in the morning someone missed the toilet when they were dealing with some gastric distress. One of the stall floors got painted brown. Thankfully the staff cleaned it up right away.

Good place for a bite. Terrible music selection, unless you are really into dated disco club music pounding out a bit too much high tempo. Chili was great!
