St. Mary’s Ecumenical Church
St Mary’s church was moved to Port Renfrew from Somenos (near Duncan). It was built there in 1875, and only dismantled and moved to this location and reassembled in 1970. Somehow in the move over logging roads and a barge, the bell went missing. Later the current bell was used as a gift from the HMCS Swansea.
