Value Village
it’s super messy with shoes or clothes not put away, on the floor, etc and the staff is super busy to.no changing rooms like usual, if u don’t allow people to try clothes on at least give them their money back or store credit instead of only exchanges within 14 days because what if they don’t find something they like?honestly not to be a karen but i hate value village and i only go very very rarely. good will is the way to go since they have changing rooms.

I used to work at this location and it has truly gone to hell. When the store open they had almost every possible employee working nearly full time hours (especially the part-time ones[like me]). And once the first 3 weeks were up they cut down the hours to maybe 16 hours a week if you were lucky. And even if they had you scheduled, you'd still go home without working half of your shift. The people they got pricing are so gone in the head they sell dollar store times for more than the dollar store it came from. And they constantly leave just one employee to handle the entire front, and the managers take their sweet time getting anywhere. The only employees I can recall who were genuinely responsible and polite were the supervisor Tammy, and the manager Tracey, if you see them please treat them with respect

I was here around a month or so ago, I had walked out of the store and left my wallet in a cart for maybe less than 5 seconds for it to get stolen immediately.Notified staff immediately and tried to block off the exit since then I knew whoever it was inside. Received absolutely 0 help except from 1 staff member who went around and helped me try to look at people’s carts and see if maybe someone had accidentally grabbed my cart instead.Tried to get footage since they had a camera right in-front of their carts, and basically was told to leave and come in the next day, and that was it.Staff was judgemental of a young girl who was just trying to get help finding her wallet. It was upsetting to say the least. But thank you to the one singular lady staff who did try to help!

Made a 5 min stop to see if the worst ran Value Village in Calgary is still the same.Brought a bag of stuff to donate & was told they no longer do donation coupons"Then went to ask the manager why I can't get a coupon and he went to the back and grabbed one for me..?I went from spending 100 everytime I went to VV to typically never buying anything because of just how insanely poorly this store is run. Here's another example of this stores insanity.Thankfully there's so many better thrift stores in Calgary. Sadly the one I'm closest to is in competition for worst thrift store in Canada.Hire a better production manager

Selling multiple broken devices that should be in the trash. Everything in this store is heavily overpriced. Been here a handful of times and have never seen a single thing worth buying.Worst Value Village in Calgary.

2 parts.Part 1 Store Presentation:Value Village store that they relocated from was in a good location I felt that there was more space and more stuff.New store also in a good location on c-train line. Store is not as big and carrying less things. The main thing I recall is it felt clean, bright and organized.Part 2:They are still selling FREE donated clothing, electronics, accessories and Jewelry..... For what I feel is extremely high, Let's face it I can spend the same money on new items of similar cost if I went to Winner's

No change rooms and the return policy is exchange within 14 days. Since they are selling products that we have donated there is no reason for this lousy return policy. It isn't like they have a quick turnaround to pay manufactures. With the lousy return policy people were trying on clothes in the aisles. There are not a lot of mirrors in the store either. This is a for profit business that brings in a billion dollars a year. 17 percent goes to charity. I won't donate to them anymore or shop there anymore because they just don't seem to be a very kind or compassionate company,

I was at this store months ago and I would absolutely agree with most of these one star reviews. There were multiple items that were overpriced among other issues. This visit, however, was a bit different. Not only did I find some really cute things at good prices, all customer service staff and management were kind and accommodating. I’m not sure if there’s a new manager or something, but there may be hope for this location yet.
