What a great experience. Did exactly what we wanted .clean fast ànd reliable .. highly recommended...

WARNING CAUTION. My experience was terrible. Get it in writing if you're going to use him. May want to consider using others as well. It took him over 2 days (more than 18 hours) to dig a hydro trench to a depth of more than 6 feet at some points (3.6ft required) and consistently 4 to 5 feet deep and 3 feet wide. Explanation was inspector will reject it even if it's 1 inch too shallow. Really? He thought there was going to be cable tv in with it so he made it wider. No cable in subdivision. Prepared 2 deck areas incorrectly. Used final material about a foot lower than should be. Then spread out extra material around the yard (wasted and charged me for it) Billed me 17 hours of labor and machines in a 9 hour day. Billed 3 hours for a dump truck (his, and already there) to move a few yards of soil 75 ft. Billed for 2 excavators and a truck simultaneously. Not sure how he used all 3 at the same time. He said others bill the same way" I called others..no they don't. Had a drop off charge each time he brought machine of almost $200. Overcharged me for the gravel and pit run he had brought in. He refused to show me his bill from them so I made some calls. Way overcharged. Said he had a non disclosure agreement with the pits so can't tell me. I asked to see it he said "no". I called the pits

Adams initial work was decent, but there was no follow up instructions for proper care. When it came time to help correct an issue, his whole team felt bad and was going to help. And then it was just him. And then he couldn't get product. And then he was on vacation. And finally after 6 months of finding excuses, Oh I have sold my company

From day one I knew Adam was a professional , I needed a new driveway to a shop I was building , his communication and work ethics were #1 .We had issues with a storm ditch next to the foundation of the shop which he dealt with the city of Nanaimo like a pro.After this positive encounter I hired him to back dig the footings and backfill for my shop , another painless well executed transaction.If you ever need a reliable, punctual, hard working guy , look no further... Three years ago I had to go hunting for another excavator company when the folks I typically used retired.Found Adam originally on Kijiji and he has now done several projects for us over the last three years.Reasonable pricing. Hard worker. Good troubleshooter. Skilled operator.And a nice fellow to boot.We have done tree falling, stump removal, lawn skims and renewal, trenching, drainage system repairs, & driveway prep together - very pleased with every project and the results.He is easy to talk to. He listens to the scope of work, and will offer his guidance and/or expertise when needed. He has good troubleshooting skills which are a nice bonus on projects that may not be straightforward.Quite simply he is our guy and both myself and my wife would recommend him without hesitation.
