Buns Master Deli
Finally tried it recently and days later I heard it was closed by Vancouver Coastal Health. BleckkFrom Richmond News:According to VCH, Buns Master Bakery & Delicatessen on No. 6 Road near Westminster Highway was closed in March due to improper construction, unsanitary conditions and pest infestation.An inspection report from March 23, 2023 lists a series of issues with sanitation such as the fact that food was not protected from contamination, the dishwasher or glasswasher was not sufficient for removing contamination and hand washing stations were not properly supplied and maintained.

The pandemic reduced the size of this place to just a small eatery offering some daily specials, bread and pastries. I used to drop by this place at 6am to get newly baked pastries, bagels or sandwiches but gone are those days.

This place has slowly declined over the years. I don't think they will last much longer. Prices are too expensive for the quality your getting. I got a lemon Danish that was stale and hard for $2.50. The samosa was good though. Would not recommend for lunch

This place use to be a decent spot to grab a sandwich for lunch however it has now changed and is pretty nasty. The bread is always stale, their “hot food” isn’t hot, it’s completely stale, probably been sitting under that heat lamp for a few days. Not as many toppings available, not worth it. I don’t think this place is going to be around for much longer and it’s a shame because it was once very good.

I was stuck on No 6 road while my car was in the shop. There’s nothing around here in terms of food. I walked to Bunsmaster. I expected mostly bread. They have breakfast (til 10:00) and regular soup and sandwiches and some Indian food and coffee.I had an Omelette on Kaiser bun and it was fine. It’s not gourmet and it’s maybe not the worlds best food but if you’re in the area it’s more than adequate. The woman behind the counter was friendly and service was quick.

Buns master is an eclectic collection of deli/restaurant, production bakery, and takeout joint. It is nothing to look at. I should stress this is a place to eat or pickup food, not a place to be seen, to have a date etc..The restaurant is on the south side (same entrance) and consists of a counter for ordering food running down to a till. Theunder the warmer" food items didn't look fantastic

Great place to get freshly baked bagels. We love their sesame seed bagels - toasted!
