I attended the pre electrician training at the Ajax campus. They really focus on getting you that hands on experience that employers look for. My teacher, Mario, was very patient and attentive to his student. You can really tell he enjoys teaching. I would recommend this class to others.

I Had a great experience studying at skilled trades college. The instructors are very skilled and knowledgeable and provide you with a lot of hands on experience. My instructor was Mario Debono, a very experienced master electrician that provides great knowledge that is applicable in the field. For anyone getting into trades, I definitely recommend skilled trades college.

Great place to learn the basics of the construction industry and get connected to contractors looking to hire. Took the electrical pre-apprenticeship program and was very impressed by the knowledge and care shown by the instructor, Mario Debono. Would reccomend the program to others!

Easily one of best programs if you really want to start working on your future. Also with, genuinely, one of the best professor to work with. Mario, the electrical professor, has taught me so much and has made me confident that when I get into the work field that I'll be prepared for anything to throw at me.

I was afraid of going back into a classroom setting and a nervous about, but all of that went away on my first day. The professor and master electrician Mario Debono made the experience an amazing one. He's very clear with his teaching material and made it seems like I was doing it even before I came to the college. It's an experience to remember.

I took Electrical and let me tell you! I was never bored! Course is great stepping stone filled with hands on experience and understanding. I felt literally at a job site. There is a method to the teaching and it works. Mario is a Master Electrician and a teacher all in one.

Attended the college for the Full-Time electrical program with Mario as my instructor. I can say he’s one of the best instructors i have ever had! He made class entertaining and easy to follow, coming from not knowing anything about the trade to learning so much in just 3 months his teaching skills were second to none! Amazing college and would recommend it to anyone interested in the trades.

I highly recommend skilled trades college if you don't want to waste time. I dropped out of Durham college because of unnecessary filler subjects i had to study. I was enrolled was in Electrical pre-apprentice course and It was taught really well by Instructor Mario Debono at Ajax campus. Conceptual knowledge + on- site experiences shared by Mario was a value add on to the curriculum.

Going into the electrical trades as a woman, I was very nervous at first but my instructor Mario and program advisor Rafaella made me feel welcomed right away. Mario is extremely patient and makes sure that none of the students are left behind and we all appreciate him for that. The program is built to get you ready for apprenticeship in only 3 months and I feel very confident having finished this program that I have the necessary skills to bring value as an apprentice. STC is a very good school and I highly recommend to anyone seriously considering going into the trades.
