Markham Tire

I wanted to buy winter tires for my car and I shopped online, called several local businesses and checked classifieds. I called several shops because I wanted to get quotes and speak with someone to get a feel for how friendly and knowledgeable they were. I spoke with Markham Tire and I told them I was looking for a good winter tire which was affordable. They listened and offered me several choices of good name brand tires, not cheap knockoffs. Some of the other places tried to sell me poorly rated off brand tires at slightly below name brand prices. I had spent some time reading tire reviews so I knew what tires I didn't want. After discussing a few options I went with the tires that I wanted at a great price.These guys are also easy to work with. They told me the new tires would be mounted and ready by 3pm that same day and they were. I brought my car in, waited a little in the lounge and soon the car was ready. They even cleaned up and removed some of the rust spots on my old wheels. Very happy with the experience and am now a loyal customer.

I am sure that this business is expertly run and they know what they are doing from a technical standpoint. If you look at the date of this review I went in just to see if they can change a tire and the owner very nicely came out to have a look at the tire but when I politely asked him to stand a little bit further to speak because neither of us were wearing a mask, he felt insulted and went back in and refused to serve me. I even called to explain to him that we are in a pandemic at the moment and we shouldn’t be standing a foot away from each other talking, He decided to laugh it off and walk away and not serve me instead of simply backing up a few feet and talking to me from a distance.It’s very unfortunate that people react like this especially in the times that we are in now people need to keep a distance

I was a new consumer looking for some winters tires, i had little to no idea about snow tires. Stewart who i talked to was very helpful in terms of catering to my needs and gave me some of the best prices for snow tires. He responds very fast to your questions through text and is a very nice genuine person. Highly recommend stopping by to check this place out!

Just picked up my car from Stew. Ive tried a couple auto work places in the area but Stew is the most genuinely nice and honest mechanic I've had work on my car and certainly isn't in it for the money. Car was in for some brake work, in addition to tire change. Gave me an unbeatable price too! Thanks Stew and team. Reliable and honest place - just has a passion for helping people and working on cars.

Stu was great! He took me last minute, a day before we were scheduled to get some winter weather. I had his crew put on some new tires I bought for my truck.He was very knowledgeable, very honest and got me in and out on a Saturday, with no appointment in an hour and a half.I did not buy my tires with him and am not a returning customer, however; this did not affect the price at all. I shopped around beforehand and Stu was $60-70 cheaper than Canadian Tire and Active Green & Ross. With no appointment. (For those complaining about his price, remember that cheap labour isn’t good and good work isn’t cheap)I will never service my tires elsewhere ever again.

Super nice owner, great service and even let us make payment the next day before the owner had to leave before service so he left his team in charge.We had taken our Tesla Model X to TESLA more than 4 times complaining that the tire keeps losing air and asked them to check what's going on. We took it here first time EVER and they found a nail hole on it and changed out the tire right away.Haven't had a problem since!Recommend!

I only came here to dismount my tires, but Stu (hopefully that was his name) was super nice, and gave me a price over the phone but in the end didn’t even charge me a cent. Will certainly be back once I need new tires!!

Stu is the guy who gave me the quote over the phone for a set of tires. Before The installation of the tires, he promised the same price as what he quote on the phone. So I dropped off the car and had the tires installed. When I picked up the car, the price turned out to be much more than what I had been told. He denied that he had quoted on the phone. Don’t go to this place, very dishonest guy! What a scam!!!
