Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Saint John

We were told upon arrival that we would need to request room cleaning. We did not request and someone entered and cleaned and removed a pair of my daughters 70 dollar shorts.I was told to call the police after the operations manager said that they clean rooms everyday. I told him actually he had checked me in and told us we had to request it and it said it on all the signs in the hotel.His customer service was terrible until I mentioned we would write an email to the higher ups. Then it was they would look harder. Still no shorts no apology no reduced rate.His staff stole and he doesn’t care.The hotel should be held accountable.

Great service, loved the dog friendly policy with the little cute sign on the door. Incredible breakfast and kind staff. Also, loved the laundry facilities. Thank you!

We wanted something close to home to take our daughter to because she wanted to go to a hotel with a pool. We got there and the staff at the front desk was great but when we got to our room we found the cover falling of the heater unit and what looked like drink rings on the dresser. Looked like there might have been mold in the bathroom, it just didn't look clean. First glimpse of the pool looked ok, but when we went in we had to go ask for towels and there was garbage on the floor. The pool was not heated at all, pretty sure the bay of fundy is warmer. We thought staying at a Hilton would be a little fancier than a Best Western or Holiday Inn but this one fell way short. The only thing we enjoyed was the staff was good and the breakfast was good.

Good hotel close to all major shopping. Clean and comfortable. Would have been nice if room had a sofa or soft chair but was spacious and bright. Some noise from the room above with a heavy walking guest and a few guests in the hall who seem to love to let their doors slam shut.

Breakfast was above average. All staff were very friendly. Beds were very comfortable. Rooms were clean. I would definitely stay here again.The only thing I would add is the hotel is starting to show some age (minor) .

Stayed here last month with my family! Rooms were super clean, and staff was super friendly! Great location as it’s close to many different stores and businesses. Would definitely stay here again & I do recommend this spot.

We were on an extended stay here for work. The staff at the front desk are friendly and the breakfast was really excellent. But the housekeeping service is so bad. They will clean only if requested. And even after requesting, it will take them another day to clean. Especially on extended stays, the room requires frequent services. Our garbages were not taken out, the bed was not made, nothing. Most of the times they'll just replace the towels and that's it. We got just one full room cleaning on our 3 weeks stay and that's really poor service.
