St. Jerome Catholic Church

Such a big place of worship 12:00 pm.

Too bad the service is not welcoming.My son was denied confirmation because I had missed a sunday to pickup some paperwork. Had called next day receptionist said there was nothing they could do. Still went to the parents meeting and at end was told by priest and practically said too bad but he cannot do confirmation perhaps the following year?? Well I went to another parish where we felt honored. It's too bad!!

I called to inquire about a baptism and was made to feel like a sinner. I was questioned, lectured and berated on what a “true” catholic is. All because I have been a front line worker and not available to attend mass during a pandemic! Also I just moved to the local area in the midst of this all.The lady who is in reception really needs to look at her own heart and not judge others through her eyes. She was definitely far from Christ like and if that is a representation of this Catholic Church, I would never consider this a welcoming place of worship and love. I will pray for a better world where people won’t be judged by so called Christian’s and people will feel open to pursue a life with God without being turned away.Shame on this church.

So, my catholic devoted wife wanted too receive the Eucharist, unfortunately, she had placed her hands wrong in doing so, which prompted the person, who is not a priest, to ask her loudly Are you not a Catholic"

for someone who works at a church you would think they would be welcoming.. wrong. Whoever works at the office that is a male, I'm disappointed. We live around the corner and wanted to require my son to be baptism. We asked simple, small questions and the respond that we received was unacceptable.. as a church we should feel welcome not telling us to go somewhere else ..

This is the first church I visited in Canada. The Easter Sunday mass attended really made my day. Nice surroundings and you get such peace while I'm prayer.

I went there with my cousins when I was there. Love the hymns.

Never felt so welcomed and loved in my life of being a catholic like now in St.Jerome’s parish! A warm and caring family that makes you experience the real love of Jesus Christ. I’m glad to be a member of this wonderful faith community!
