I highly recommend this company, especially for those who might have property in Halifax/Dartmouth they need help with, but can't get to. I am in another province and wasn't able to travel to my rental home. There were major repairs to be done after tenants and a previous contractor left work unfinished. There was drywall repair, exterior windows to be repaired and painting, flooring to be redone and interior painting.John took pictures, created a detailed invoice, and took before and after pictures of his work so I could trust him every step of the way. As a homeowner several provinces away I felt confident leaving my home in the care of John at Seaside Painting & Home Improvement. I was given options for my budget and the work was done quickly and with care, thank you John!

John has done a bunch of renovations on my house, dividing a room, updating my laundry room, the level of quality is incredible. He's my go to contractor to get any renovations that I need done on time and on budget.

John was extremely pleasant and professional. Trustworthy and showed up day after day. We have hired him for a number of things around our house including making benches for deck, updating back deck, small cosmetics and painting. Ihave recommended him to numerous friends and others in community.

John was an absolute pleasure to work with. He provided detailed, accurate quotes that he stood by. He communicated any questions he had, which gave us the chance to make some changes. He was so flexible with us and went above and beyond to help us meet the deadline we were trying to reach. We used him for several large outdoor and indoor projects for our business, and look forward to using his services again in the future.

John and team painted our 1600 sq ft house interior over a long weekend (!!) between closing day and moving day, to give us a clean slate on move-in. Since we were moving from Ontario all of our back and forth was over email, text and phone, and his communication was great throughout -- clear estimates, lots of photos over text about whether things need another coat or if a ceiling needed attention, and regular updates about how things were going. Couldn't have asked for a better experience, and the results were great -- including a bunch of wall prep from 30 years of nails and anchors. Pricing was reasonable, and when anything did need more work than originally estimated John was very clear on what it would cost. Afterwards the place was left spotless. We'll definitely reach out to Seaside next time we need painting done!

Booked an appointment and they never showed up. Got a quote the following week and it reached 5290$ to paint gutters / 3 windows.

I would 100% recommend John& Seaside to anyone looking for home improvement and painting around their home. We had just got the keys to our house and had a tight window before movers came and he had the job done in amazing time, but also flawlessly. He was so easy to work with, did an incredible job and would definitely call again if we need any work done.
