YQR Hair Lounge

My experience at YQR hair salon has been amazing. I moved to the South End a few months ago and saw their sign so I figured it was convenient to go in there for a haircut. I am a recovering addict and have been in recovery for 6 months now and Ashley was my hairdresser. She was so amazing I told her everything about my recovery and where I've been and where it came from and she compared to story in her life with me. It was absolutely amazing. Three months later I went in for my second haircut with the same lady Ashley, and she actually remembered who I was. She said you're the girl that own the trucking company. I was so amazed that she remembered me. I recommended their hair salon to anybody. What an amazing experience I had.

Its my first time visit there. And Marsha (stylist) was amazing. She knew what to do with my hair.Will love to go again there.

Pierre did an excellent job. I love my haircut. He is always very personable and friendly.

Great ambience but even better hair stylists! Adrienne always cuts and shapes with precision and a keen eye for what looks good.

The only person I trust in the world with my hair is Ashley. She's been by hairstylist since 2017, and she has done a wonderful job every time. She's upfront with the price and ensures you receive the best results with your budget.I 100% recommend her.

I booked an appointment to get my hair styled into an updo for my friends wedding, which I was just a guest and not part of the bridal party. Keeping this in mind, I wanted something super simple and swept back so I wouldn’t look ridiculous like I was trying to upstage any of the bridesmaids or bride. I showed the stylist a picture of a very simple updo and asked for her to replicate it. As the stylist was doing my hair, she kept saying she had to remind herself that I was not the bride and to stop making it so fancy. When I left the salon, I had twists, braids and curls galore - almost the exact opposite of what I had asked for. I did not ask for her to redo it for the sake of time but I was definitely disappointed.

A few years later" and Marsha continues to leave my hair looking much improved from what it looked like when I arrive. Super clean and relaxed
