Ordered a small totem and paid $80.00 to have it rushed. After a problem with Canada Post were I mentioned that I had paid $80.00 they told me they had paid $49.00. If you buy there make sure to pay the correct amount of shipping.

This store has very interesting and unique merchandise. I found something I liked that have not seen anywhere else. However I almost left after the first salesman was extremely rude in telling me I had to remove my backpack. If that were my store, I would find a new employee.

Recently bought a Cowichan sweater online from them. Tara was so great with all the back-and-forth questions, sent me a picture of the sweater, and I was very pleased with the garment's quality and price. Recommended!

What a wonderful place! The First Nations art is absolutely fantastic and so varied, too. Each piece has an attribution and the staff is so knowledgeable and informative. It was a genuine pleasure to spend an afternoon at Hill's Native Art.

For over seventy years, Hill's has been the go to stop for Northwest Coast First Nation Art and Crafts. From masks to authentic Cowichan sweaters and totem poles to sterling carved jewelry, Hill's is a BC legend.

So, today, I was walking around Gastown with a friend of mine when we caught sight of Hill's. We had passed quite a few native art stores, but none had real appeal until I found this one. I walked in and was greeted straight away by friendly faces. As well as the faces of a wall of masks. I walked in and wow! Everything looked so good. I'm not big on buying furs but so much of the furry things here appealed to me. I actually found some tails. I spent a half an hour choosing from all their tails. I saved up my money for a specific cause but these convinced me to take out twenty dollars. I ended up being tied between a specific fox tail and a specific coyote tail. I ended up choosing the fox tail. All the tails were of very nice quality and were so soft. Especially the fox tail. It also has a nice sway to it.Overall, I liked this store enough to come review it. Which is something I don't do often. C:

Worked here for a number of years it's a good place the new location is alot smaller then the previous one. So this is a great place to look for first nations art work various artists within this place. Different styles on red and yellow cedar you will smell the cedar as you walk in. If you need moccasins this is a great place to look for them I am not to sure as they have moved if they still carry them or the selection they had. Artist they have information on them as well the animals meanings and stories that can go with a carving. Getting to know First Nations art work is really important I feel if your to get a true West Coast experience. So stop by here see one of Vancouvers oldest First Nations galleries still around and experience the West Coast.

Hill's has such a large and beautiful collection of First Nations art. What's more, the staff at the store are knowledgeable and very friendly. For years, family members and I have sought out Hill's because of the incredible service and wide selection of different pieces of art the store offers.

Huge store with a large collection of First Nations artwork. Everything from $4 prints to $25,000 8 foot tall totem poles! The staff were friendly and knowledgable. They informed me that the owners of the store work very close with the first nations artists and pay them commision for their artwork. Hands down the best place to purchase or just admire the work of first nations artists!
