Dr. Mark I. Reichman

I came to Dr. Reichman for corrective jaw surgery. I had a maxillary impaction, mandibular leveling and a genioplasty. From the beginning Dr. Reichman was honest about his past (which I didn't know about going in to meet him), never made you feel rushed, was kind, answers all your questions patiently and thoroughly, is of good spirit and holds a very high standard for his work. I am 1.5 years out of surgery with him and could not be happier with the results. The entire experience was wonderful with him. If you dont have a jaw problem it can be difficult to understand what this can do for your life and Dr. Reichman was the only person who really understood that. This is as much an emotional journey as a physical one. I highly recommend Dr. Reichman for his excellence in surgery and patient care!!

My experience with Dr. Reichman has been nothing short of phenomenal over the years I've been seeing him.I have read some negative reviews and it absolutely vexes me as I have never had any experiences such as those described in these negative reviews.Firstly his skills are phenomenal. I have had extensive surgery performed on me by Dr. Reichman, including implants.His work is exceptional and has been described in such a way by other dental surgeons who have examined his worl on me. It is extremely precise. I find him to be a perfectionist.It is without hesitation that I recommend implant surgery by Dr. Reichman to anyone needing it.You won't be disappointed.I find him to be very personable, unpretentious, very sociable and easy to communicate with. He takes time to thoroughly explain every aspect of any work needing to be done.I could go on but you get my point.I feel he is among the top in his field.

Wonderful experience with all staff all around. Everyone gave great information without over or under explaining, which can get daunting or scary. Dr. Reichman was able to get an IV in the first time which is a feat considering every other time it's like several pokes at least. Explained everything he was doing so I didn't have to question anything at all. Seems to be a no-risk individual, and am very happy with the work. I was sedated and had three teeth removed, the nurses were amazing and fun and friendly. Can't recommend enough.

After many years of putting it off, I decided to get my wisdom teeth out in June 2021. My dentist referred me to Dr. Reichman and I am glad she did! The procedure was done in 20 minutes and it went smoothly with zero complications. I was nervous going into the surgery, but a consultation before hand put me at ease. Being on the old end of the spectrum (46, old for getting wisdom teeth out I was informed;)), my recovery took a total of 2 weeks, but I was back on solid food about 5 days after. I was expecting some pain the day of the surgery when I got home, but it never came. I didn't even need stitches! I'd go back to Dr. Reichman in a heartbeat for any of my oral surgery needs. 10/10.

My son recently had four wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Reichman. Dr. Reichman was very reassuring and professional. He came and spoke to my son for a few minutes prior to and following the procedure. We were expecting a lot of pain and significant swelling of which neither occurred. My son had minimal pain and minimal swelling. There was so little swelling that you could not even tell he had surgery. He was back studying by Day 4. It went as well as we could have hoped and would highly recommend Dr. Reichman for wisdom teeth extraction.

I went to Dr. Reichman to get all four of my wisdom teeth removed, and after a quick consultation I booked my surgery a month in advance.I was given a light sedation which knocked me out pretty good, which was great because I didn't feel, or hear anything during the procedure. When I woke up, I wasn't dizzy at all, and I could walk a straight line. I healed up good in 5 days, and I made sure I followed the tips in the handout.Dr. Reichman is the go to man to get your teeth out!

Painless and smooth procedure for wisdom teeth removal two weeks ago.Dr. Reichmann made me feel at easy. Recovery is going fast too.Was referred here from another dental clinic. Excellent job.

I had upper jaw surgery performed by Dr. Mark Reichman in July 2017 at UBC Hospital. From my initial consult a year and a half ago to the present day of recovery, Dr. Reichman and his staff have been the epitome of excellence and professionalism in oral surgery. The communication of Dr. Reichman with my orthodontist was effective and further ensured a superb outcome. I come from a family comprised of several medical doctors /dentists, who all weighed in on the treatment beforehand and post- surgery . It has been our experience that Dr. Reichman's skill and patient care is second to none. During my recovery, Dr. Reichman went above and beyond to ensure that I was cared for with a minor complication I had related to my own body's healing. He is extremely knowledgable, friendly, and experienced. Overall, the surgery results came out better than expected and I couldn't be happier with my experience with Dr. Reichman.

Both of my parents are dentists and when I needed to have my wisdom teeth out recently they wanted me to see the best oral surgeon in the lower mainland. In January 2016, I had 4 wisdom teeth taken out with sedation. The teeth were very impacted but his skill and expertise were evident. The staff are very friendly and informative, giving me a good idea of what to expect in the surgery and recovery. Dr. Reichman has a fantastic bedside manner and made me feel safe and comfortable during the operation. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Reichman to anyone requiring oral or facial surgery in the future.

In nov 2010 , I got injured really bad , I broke my jaw at the point where it connects to my head , it was just hanging there , had a huge gash under my bottom lip that went right through to my teeth , and I broke my 4 upper teeth , he did surgery on me at VGH and saved my face ! I can never thank him enough ! Very talented and skilled
