I visited the breastfeeding clinic and I would HIGHLY recommend this to any new mom or dad. They are so knowledgeable, helpful, patient and supportive.

Health care professionals saving kids one vaccine at a time. Just another amazing service offered by your local superheroes who don't want you or others to suffer terrible diseases and possibly even death.

Friendly helpful staff for the most part. Building is a decaying piece that should be torn down & replaced due to the type of construction. Parking there is also a pain as stalls out front are few & they charge for parking at another health services centre where it really isn't needed.

Wasn't going to post about this but social media is a pretty powerful place. This morning I was told that I was a burden on the public healthcare system and turned away at the door of the public health covid testing site in Kamloops because I was seeking a secondary covid test after my first a few days ago. There is a positive case in my household and we are doing the best we can to isolate. I tested negative initially but there is still a chance that I could contract covid in the next 14 days. I am vaccinated but did have some minor symptoms from Friday to Sunday morning (headache, sore throat and a cough) and wanted to take a second test before I returned to my workplace later this week. I work in healthcare. The whole experience totally rattled me as I was under the impression that I was doing the right thing in taking preventative measures with a positive case in my household but instead, I had strips torn off me at the door of the site in front of the other nurses and patients by an uppity Nurse Rachet" type who proceeded to interrupt me about 10 times over when I tried to explain my concerns and dismissed me with "you're vaccinated

Very thankful.. if any of the nurses see this, I got home safely today and really appreciate you trying to look out for me. Kamloops is very lucky to have such kind and attentive Healthcare workers and I sincerely hope I didn't cause any undue stress because of my current state and driving myself home.

Staff was very friendly. The building inside is nasty. Bug traps filled with bugs (which apparently get changed daily) lines the windows and floors. Pest traps in the hallways. You would think that there are dead bodies hidden in the walls there are so many bugs, but the bodies would smell, so there aren't. Not what I would expect from a public health facility. It would be a 5 star rating if not for the insects.

Website states no appoinent required, have checked many times on appointments and it always defaults to two days later. So I go down and am turned away because they said they are out of tests and only testing people with appointments.... it says about 4 times on the website NO APPOINENT REQUIRED... they tell me to come back later today or tomorrow. So NO appointment within two days of filling out online appointment form, and zero way to find out if they have tests available other than physically driving down there as there is no phone number and states on their site they will not answer the phone. What a joke.. A complete time wasting disorganized joke show

Why is it that this place is ALWAYS rude?My wife went in to get tested as an American citizen & was given attitude and told that she would have to pay for it.I think that paying for a test in Canada in a foreign country is sort of an expected thing.I'm her husband a Canadian & I've been down to the USA and got tested FOR FREE PCR AND RAPID TEST FOR FREE.So I'm not sure how OUR country has to be so rude about testing for one... Because that's never happened to me in the USA.And two, why they can't give tests for free in a country with quote on quote free healthcare."Meanwhile in a country like the USA where healthcare is EXPENSIVE.They give it to me a Canadian for free?Confusing.."
