Ellipse Therapy

My baby was referred to Antoine by my lactation doctor to assess baby's muscles. I was having issues with breastfeeding and decided to make an appointment to see Antoine. Years ago, I had been to an osteopath for back pain and while I saw a little bit of improvement, I didn't go to enough appointments to have my issue resolved. I was initially a bit skeptical on what an osteopath could do for a tiny baby, but I decided to give it a try anyway. He is warm, professional and super knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything. He was gentle with my baby, did a very thorough assessment and only did very gentle release on muscles with baby's own body weight.My baby was previously chomping down and causing me pain when breastfeeding. Baby had tight jaw and neck muscles, which interfered with how wide he could open his jaw - that was one of the primary concerns I brought forward to Antoine. I was happy to hear my suspicions confirmed and that Antoine was able to correct it. Once Antoine released the tight jaw and neck muscles, breastfeeding improved significantly! I could see baby's jaw open much wider, and the motion of sucking and swallowing also look different/better than before. I felt a significant reduction in pain the first feeding session after the first appointment. Baby still has some learning to do, but he's continued to improve over time. Also, my baby was super relaxed and had many peaceful naps after the appointment, a very good sign.I've since brought my baby back to Antoine for a follow up, but because the issue is resolved and there's nothing left to work on at this time, there's no need for further follow ups. I appreciate Antoine's honesty about this since some practitioners would gladly string you along and ask you to keep coming back for appointments when there's no need! I would not hesitate to make an appointment with him again though if new issues come up, or if something regresses for some reason.I highly recommend Antoine's services, whether you're dealing with pain/muscle tightness or your child is. Definitely recommend breastfeeding parents have Antoine take a look at the baby if struggling with breastfeeding pain!Just a tip on the facility - Ellipse Therapy is in the same space as Spectrum Therapy. The parking lot doesn't seem to have any reserved spaces for Ellipse or Spectrum, so you should park in one of the few general" parking spaces on the left when you enter the lot."

Antoine is knowledgeable and professional, my whole family has seen him including my infant son who made great progress with his feeding thanks to Antoine.Antoine was a great help to me as well for a longstanding hip and back problem that I have struggled with for many years. I had received chiropractic and physio treatments in the past which had helped me improve but I had plateaued in my recovery and Antoine helped my back return to how it felt prior to my initial injury. He has helped me return to a healthy and more active lifestyle.

Antoine is passionate about helping people! He is detail oriented and always explains what he is doing and why. It is refreshing to have an osteopath that has a goal of fixing the problem as opposed to having you coming back forever. I would definitely recommend Antoine. If you suffer from chronic pain do yourself a favour and go see Antoine!

Antoine is a dedicated practitioner and was excellent with my baby! He talked through the treatment to ensure I understood what he was doing and provided good insight and information as he went along in his treatment. If your little one needs assistance I would highly recommend Antoine. He is excellent.

Antoine is a REAL osteopath, trained for many years in Europe which is highly medically regulated, unlike Canada where training is a joke. He explains everything he is doing and is a true professional. He’s very personable and helpful. He loves what he does! Also trained to work on little ones, which is how I met him. He helped me recently and I’m so grateful. Go see him :)

Antoine is simply amazing at what he does! He's incredibly professional, very knowledgable, and great at communicating and explaining the physical and manual therapies. Not only is he able to put a baby, toddler and preschooler at ease during treatments, he's succeeded in alleviating acid reflux and symptoms of recurring ear infections for our youngest, where other treatments have failed. Highly recommend, wish I could give more than 5 stars!

Antoine was very helpful working with my daughter (2 months) when we were having issues with her latch/breastfeeding and some minor torticollis. He explained everything as he went and made sure I was comfortable and understood what he was doing while working with her. I felt he was genuinely interested in improving my daughters health and clearly is passionate about what he does; which is everything you want in someone caring for the well-being of your little one.

Antoine really helped our baby with Breastfeeding. I was referred to an osteopath by my lactation consultant and was very skeptical of how helpful it would be. Antoine was really gentle and patient with my 2 month baby and we saw results almost immediately. We are now effectively breastfeeding and its so exciting that this has helped so much with our lactation journey. It also helped our baby because he wouldn't turn his head to one side and now that isn't an issue at all. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for care for their baby. He was very knowledgeable and kind and I enjoyed that he explained everything he was doing so I could understand as well.

Antoine was so helpful for my 2 month old son and I. We were referred to a different osteopath by our lactation consultant, but a friend had recently seen Antoine and recommended we go see him instead. He was very knowledgeable and explained what he was doing and how it would benefit my son. My son had been struggling to breastfeed and is so much more effective now, which has in turn increased my milk supply. My son is also is able to turn his head fully in both directions, which he wasn’t able to do before seeing Antoine. We highly recommend him!

For years, I had terrible migraines, jaw problems, and muscle pains on the left side of my body. After seeing Antoine only a few times, I got better and my migraines diminished considerably. I like how Antoine explains the purpose and the reasons for each treatment. I will always continue to see Antoine for keeping me healthy and active .
