Sutherland Migratory Bird Sanctuary - Canada.ca | The Sutherland Migratory Bird Sanctuary (MBS) was established on May 5, 1924, and encompassed a Dominion Forestry Station that produced trees for farm shelterbelts. The Forestry Station continued to operate until 1965, when half was transferred to the City of Saskatoon for a park, and the other half became an Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada Research Station.

The Zoo today was very mundane. We are in a time of social distancing and changes to daily life. But the atmosphere was very void of fun and the exhibits were either closed/ no access or the animals were not out for viewing. For $26 for a family just was not worth it.

I loved that in every enclosure there was staff near and enough staff it seemed to accommodate every enclosure at this place . A must visit
