Prince County Guest House

Hosts were very nice, welcoming and helpful. I wish breakfast was more than just coffee and tea. The rooms were comfortable, so was the bed and the house itself was beautiful!

July 20th - 23rd. Our second visit, first was 7 years ago. This time was just as great as the first. Sometimes when you go back to a place that holds great memories its disappointing when you return. That wasn't the case with Prince County Guest House. Hosts Herb and Roger were as welcoming as we remembered and the rooms were inviting with very comfortable beds. As an added bonus this year the opened a The Village Pub in the basement which was the perfect spot to unwind with a cold beverage after a day of exploring the island.

We really enjoyed our stay. The owners were cheerful, welcoming, and friendly. We recommend this place, and if back in the vicinity, we will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful house. Suite was large and comfortable. Village Pub was pleasant and the food was excellent. Would stay again.

I never received a message back from Herb when on my way to check in, but there were absolutely 0 issues. It's 100% self-check in via code-locks. Doesn't make for a very personal stay but it did the trick. The house is very old which added a lot of charm. Lots of sitting rooms including a balcony. There is a restaurant on-site that is only open tuesday-saturday so plan accordingly. (There is practically nothing to eat within walking distance sunday and monday.) We had a room with a lovely jacuzzi tub which we enjoyed. I would recommend calling and asking about the ceiling height in the room you're booking if you're above 6'!!!

Amazing hospitality. Herb who runs the place is warm, welcoming and accommodating. The place has many terraces / patios to accommodate those who like to sit outside. We stayed in the king size suit which felt quite a luxury with an en suite living space. Breakfast is not only delicious but also prepared with lovely presentation. All in all well worth the price and definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.

We have stayed here twice. Herb serves great breakfasts. The B&B is cozy and well maintained. The WiFi is great here unlike every other place we stayed at. My only complaint is the water pressure is low so showers take a little longer than normal.

I have never felt more welcomed or been better taken care of at any bed and breakfast or hotel as I was by Herb at Prince County B&B. If I ever make it back to PEI I will absolutely without a doubt be returning.The inn is adorable with great rooms and a really lovely yard. There's a deck with tables where guests can sit in good weather. The food was fantastic and I genuinely looked forward to breakfast each morning.The other guests were super nice and had plenty of tips on where to go and what to do on the island. I can't say that I've stayed anywhere else that felt so much like a little community of travelers, where I was able to sit and talk and listen to everyone's stories.Herb himself is an absolute blessing. Herb is a warm and extremely welcoming host and he himself made the whole experience an absolute delight for me.If I could give Herb and Price County Bed and Breakfast 10 stars I would.

Everything was just perfect! We loved our stay in this beautiful old Victorian house.Our welcoming hosts became fast friends. Thank you so much Jing and Mark!We will definitely love to go back and are recommending this amazing gem to our family and friends.

Great hosts, professional, yet warm and humorous. Quiet, away from main tourist haunts. Centrally located on the island, convenient to everything from Charlottetown to West Point Lighthouse to the Thunder Cove beach and minutes from Summerside.Rooms are well appointed, clean and ample. Bed was comfortable, plenty of closet space and a deep soaking tub.Breakfast is at the Corner Cafe, full of flavor and colorful locals. Breakfast is served until 2 pm, you cannot oversleep this one.Right across the street from a beautiful RC Church, St. John the Baptist.We met new friends from Quebec City, we will be back.
