Highly dissatisfied and disappointed at the quantity of food i received for 57.98 CAD.While the food was okay, the price and size of food was just too unacceptable! I just made an order of 57.98 CAD (note, this is before the added Uber taxes) and you won’t believe the portion of food I received. Each semo was 5 CAD and it was so tiny (not up to the size of a small fist - no exaggerations at all). It’s so annoying that the soup does not come with any swallow and you must purchase these expensive swallows separately.I received a very tiny portion of egusi at 18.99 CAD and with really tiny and insignificant beef - really insignificant. When I say the soup was tiny, I mean tiny. To help you, I filled the empty plate with water and poured it into an empty can 341ml can (size of a can of coke). To my shock, the water did not even fill the can. Yet, there were bones in the soup that took up space.. So, you’re literally paying for a can size of soup. Note, while egusi is not bad, it’s not made with palm oil or didn’t look or taste like it is.The most annoying fact is that the egusi does not come with any swallow. You have to still pay much money for swallow and one will certainly not be enough. It’s so tiny!I received a similar small plate of 14.99 CAD gizdodo, which inspite of being in a ridiculously small plate was not full. You would hardly notice any gizzard and the few tiny ones were soo hard.I also received 2 very tiny (I mean tiny) and very hard goat meat. It was full of bones despite being tiny. I paid 6 CAD for them. Finally I received a tiny portion of sweet potato fries for 8 CAD.I felt so cheated when I received the delivery. Wow! I would definitely not be purchasing from this restaurant again. But thought I should let you know, so that you don’t get as surprised and disappointed as I am.

I wish I did not go to this restaurant. They took over an hour to prepare an underwhelming and extremely over priced plate of food. The worst part of it was that they have a very horrible customer service. I would ABSOLUTELY not recommend them.

We had isi ewu (goat head) and I enjoyed every bit of it. It was wonderfully made and delicious.

This is a very disrespectful neighbourhood restaurant. Plays loud music even though it is zoned for mixed use, which means quiet time is 10 pm. If it was a community restaurant it would be better received but blaring music when we are trying to sleep is disrespectful. The owners are not approachable and feel they have a right to do this.I respectfully ask people not to patronize this business since they don’t respect our neighbourhood. Update June 16 2023. Tonight again the bar was open after hours,416 am when it stopped, patrons were screaming and hollering in the parking lot. Horns honking, music blaring from cars and the bar. This is not trying to just be nasty to the business. Thus is the business not caring about our community!

I was so excited to hear that was a new Restaurant / Lounge for Africa cuisine especially Nigeria and decided to check it out on the official opening. So here’s a very honest review (Based on the Space, Service, Menu.- The space is definitely very well renovated and looks nice and not like a standard lounge however the “Restaurant” claim isn’t quite true. If you’re looking for a calm place with good sitting and light to eat you will not get it here especially due to the loud music, club like light and uncomfortable sitting. It would pass as a lounge than a restaurant.- It took about 25 minutes before we got any service. One of the owners actually approached us to ask if we had been attended to and then had to personally get a waiter assigned to us.- Looking at the food menu and drink menu, it brought some hope and gave a feeling of African cuisine. It would take another 10 minutes to get a Pineapple Mojito and 30 minutes to get a take out order. The price of the meal for one person came to almost $67 (pictures attached). The prices is very ridiculous. It is way over priced for the amount of food served. While I would like to support local I would definitely prefer to go to other African / Nigerian cuisine options. The management here needs to definitely review the customer service strategy and menu pricing.

The food is blend and has no taste. I found a rock on my jollof rice which chipped off my teeth a little bit. and the chicken was hard as rock. The chicken gizzards were also hard like rock.
