I hate disappearing reviews so let's do this again! La Taquiza is a family run restaurant and I believe they have 2 other locations. I frequent the Northbrook location as it's closer to our house.We have been coming here for many years and we always get good service and never had a bad experience with the employees. Now is it the best taco place in the world no, but it is a very solid place to grab a quick bite to eat at a reasonable price. We will continue to come here and my kids have started to enjoy it so many more years to come from our family.

First time trying Mexican food in Chicago. Great experience with very typical order and chose your seat.Chips and salsa are very different and delicious.Would definitely recommend and return

I was so excited for this place, ordered the jr burrito with el pastor and the meat was super dry and hard. They were very fast and polite, maybe it's a fluke but I'm very disappointed.

Wow. That was the best burrito bowl I’ve ever had. This place is what Chipotle wishes it was. What they lack in indoor seating, they more than make up for with fresh ingredients and artistic presentation—which was no surprise with the influence of Frida Kahlo’s work prevalent on the walls. La Taquiza is an absolute gem and I couldn’t recommend it more highly.
