Shannon was personable yet EXTREMELY professional. It's really hard to fix that mix in a person. She honestly BLEW MY MIND with her method!! I have been waxed countless times by many others and it was something that I ALWAYS dreaded. I cannot recommend this place enough!! Thank you Shannon. Had my first visit at Beavers N Bears Wax Bar the other day. I had been on the search for a new esthetics place for my services after numerous bad experiences from other local businesses that had left me with rashes , ingrown hairs and a nail infection ! I was greeted by the owner Shannon who is such an amazing lady . It was a clean, warm positive environment and Shannon was full of smiles , which was a breath of fresh air ! Shannon took the time to address all my previous concerns about my bad experiences before proceeding with my services, with her endless knowledge I felt so at ease and comfortable.The professionalism, high standards of proper procedures and cleanliness was top notch. From start to finish the multiple services I booked that day were perfect and the bubbly conversations gave me many laughs and giggles that made me feel like I’ve known her for years! I was provided with thorough aftercare instructions and recently received a caring email to follow up as I had many concerns from my previous experiences from other businesses. First time experience at B n B and first time wax. Alex was very professional, considerate of my comfort levels while always checking in to make sure I was alright. I would recommend Alex but also Shannon’s well put together business. Her priority is your comfort and I have already booked my return!

I didn’t have a great experience. I was booked in for a pedicure and had to cancel, due to an unforeseen circumstance with our house renos. Between that and a newborn baby, I just couldn’t make it work. Trust me, no one wanted me there at that appointment more than me, I could have really used the zen time. Instead, I ended up forfeiting the entire value of my gift certificate because of the cancellation policy. Yes, I knew about this before hand, but it’s not like I could have prevented the circumstances that made it impossible for me to come in that day. Talking to Shannon about it, I really wish she would have just seen me as a person struggling to keep it all together. Instead I just felt like someone interrupting her revenue stream.

This was my first time at beavers and bears for a wax appointment and I was blown away by the service I received from Shannon! She made me feel comfortable and the process was painless! Her salon space is clean, beautiful and calming, and the attention to detail is top notch! She even has a heated bed in the treatment room! I have already booked my next appointment.

I’ve been going to BnB for my Brazilian for several months now and always have a great experience! Shannon takes extra care to use high quality products that don’t irritate my delicate skin and her method is excellent so that after-care needs are minimal. She paid special attention to my concerns about my lichen sclerosis and was able to wax without pain or lasting discomfort. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and so enjoyable to chat with while she works. I highly recommend her waxing expertise. Worth every penny.

I’ve been coming to this place for awhile now to get my legs done and Shannon has been amazing. But today I got my very first Brazilian and the pain was barely there - I was so impressed. Shannon is definitely your go to girl when it comes to waxing as her technique is so professional and she creates the least discomfort. Highly recommend.
