Care Funeral Services was recommended to us by a dear friend who lives in Victoria and by a health care professional. It was such a relief to talk with someone who genuinely cared about us and what we were going through. If there is such a thing as a nice" funeral experience

Care Funeral Services has looked after arrangements for both of my parents. I could not have asked for better service. Dad was buried and Mom was cremated. They were thoughtful, efficient, and kind and were very inexpensive compared to many other alternative funeral service providers. We would never consider using anyone else.

CARE has now looked after 6 funerals for our family... They have always be kind, gentle and efficient. They have taken particular care to consider the feelings of all our family members and provided for their desires in a way that has brought comfort and closure.They really do go the extra mile to provide wonderful service and their prices are always low... often far lower than their competitors. You never feel like you're dealing with a sales person. The experience is more like dealing with a service provider... perhaps that's because none of their staff are on commission.I would never consider using anyone else to look after our families funeral needs.

With the sudden death of my brother, a recently retired Navy man, Care Funeral Services came up with all the answers and made all the arrangements. They are anything but caring. They forgot about the appointment to pick up the cremains. The person who forgot was called in and showed up in a track suit. He said he was in his garden. Made jokes to my Mum about being Scottish, insinuating she would like the cheapest things for her recently deceased husband. They never posted the obituary that was linked from the TC. Fortunately the cremains had a tag on them from an outside company proving they were my Dad. The only info he offered was when I prompted him. When asked about the lack of service, they ended up presenting us with a poorly cut out laminated copy of the obit we put in the TC laminated to the back of what would have been a nice card had we not gone through this experience. Having never been through this before, maybe this is normal for funeral homes but I suspect not.

I would highly recommend CARE Funeral Services to anyone who will have to plan a funeral for a loved one. CARE has been a God send to me.
