Hakim Optical Mississauga - Britannia & Mavis

NOTE: This review is for the eye doctor only, as I did not deal with the store itself...Dr. Danni De Luca is hands down one of the best eye doctors out there. Super friendly and professional and makes you laugh every single time. He explains everything in detail, takes his time and makes you feel very comfortable. Highly recommended.

The customer service at this Hakkim location is exceptional and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. Harish, the store manager at this location is very understanding and empathetic to the customers. I recently bought a frame and lenses from this location and unfortunately, the frame wasn't working well with the way I use it. One of the arms was always wobbly even after a couple of repairs and I wanted to get replaced. To my surprise, unlike any other store associates I had to deal with before, he was calm all the way and listened to everything and without any hesitation, he took the frame back and offered me to choose another frame that suited me better nearly free of cost. Exceptional customer service and very positive experience.

Not a very good experience overall. I normally like to support businesses in buying their products, but I searched for a good while of trying to find products that didn't look awkward on my face to no avail. I tried asking staff there for recommendations on frames based on my preferences, they just simply told me to continue looking around. That whatever they had on shelf was all that they had. Okay. From that response, it firmly told me that the staff there didn't know their products, and didn't know what they were doing. Every other store I went to in the past, there would be people that would at least attempt" to give people a frame recommendation

I had a phenomenal experience at this Hakim Opticals. I came here to upgrade my lenses with a new Nikon lens. Harish was super helpful and accommodating. He took the time to show me around the store and patiently look through various glasses as well. He also fixed up my lenses which were crooked for a long time. When showing him my old glasses he was honest with the quality of the lenses as compared to Hakim products. Harish embodied Honesty, respect and customer service, I will continue to come back here!

Have been using this location for several years. We have been greeted and serviced politely and attentively each time.If you have questions, they take the time to explain their answers and provide opinions where needed in order to help you make the right decision.Whether we came in for a purchase or for adjustments and repairs, we have always received thae same level of service.

The staff are very nice... And there is a lot of selection. Took about an hour to find what I was looking for and good. The entrance is on the other side of the main parking lot... You will see it from the road but not if you drive in from the north side... Had to figure that one out.

Went there once to get my PD calculated so I may order glasses online. After a 20 minute wait standing (i use a cane) I was told they charge $50 per person for a service that normally others do for free. That cost wasn't worth it and decided to leave. Condescending snarky looks from the people working there as I left. Hakim optical what a sorry name for customer service.

Had an appointment on the day of the winter storm. We made sure to get there on time because we had the appointment for a long time. When we got there, we were told that they had called everyone" to cancel the appointments for the day! They never called us. We're not going there again!"

I booked an eye exam, that went great. I wanted to make lenses so I waited at the counter for some assistance. A lady named Rita helped me. She was in some kind of hurry to drive me out of the store because I brought my own frames and only wanted lens. She told me repeatedly that she had to go because she had an appointment and some other lady is supposed to be doing all this... she gave me no options, just one. After every question she would remind me that she had to go. Fed up of this, I had to simply exit the store. My wife cancelled her appointment naturally.

Recently went in a few weeks ago for an eye examination. The optometrist was very friendly, very knowledgeable and had me in and out quickly. I picked out my glasses the same day, the gentleman working was very helpful and friendly. Picked up my glasses a few days ago and they are perfect. Great service.
