Chartwell Churchill House Retirement Residence

The staff of Churchill House continue to impress me with their exceptional care for my 93 year old mother. They sincerely care about her well being and happiness and are very receptive to her needs.A Special thank you to Harleen and Gerry Lin's care staff and in particular to Anna and Dena who regularly communicate with us about any concerns. Sharon and Rhona's dining room staff continually go above and beyond in ensuring that my mother is happy and well fed. The reception staff, including Sunny, are also very kind, thoughtful and helpful.Maintenance are always ready to help and made my mother's internal move a breeze.I'm very thankful for the professionalism and dedication to excellence of the Churchill staff and for the peace of mind of knowing my mother is well cared for.Bill Wilson.

Mum moved into Churchill House about a month ago. We continue to be impressed with the quality of service and the friendly staff. Today at lunch, Rhona and Sharon made us feel like family. We are so happy that Mum is living here; just wish it had happened sooner!

My sister has been living at Churchill House for about three months now. She was a little anxious at first, as it was a significant transition for her. However, Churchill House's sense of community and care soon had her feeling very much 'at home'.Her suite is lovely and the meals offered are amazing.Not a dull moment is to be had with all the craft and exercise programs as well as entertainment.All staff and residents are to be commended for their caring attitude.Care and kindness abound at Churchill House.

My mother-in-law is a resident at Chartwell Churchill house in North Vancouver. She has been residing there for one year and 3 months. I had an opportunity to travel to Vancouver. Therefore, I stopped by to visit my mother-in-law. The building is modern looking and clean. Chartwell has a warm and inviting ambiance. I took an immediate liking as soon as I entered the lobby. The front desk employee was friendly and polite. In addition to, my wife and I are filled with gratitude toward the general manager and her entire team of employee’s for doing an excellent job.

We have a relative, our mother, who has been a resident at Churchill House for the past year. We have been very impressed with the care she receives from the staff and quality of the accommodation. Meals are excellent, with a very good choice of items. All the staff are caring, helpful and friendly especially Sharon Hill and Rhona. The General Manager Zay Rahimbux is very accessible if we have any questions. All in all we are very pleased with Chartwell Churchill Retirement Residences.

We just moved Mum into Churchill House. This was a big change for Mum, and there was some anxiety about it. But everything about moving to Churchill House was fantastic. The staff and residents have been very welcoming, Mum's suite is lovely, and the meals have been great too. A special thank-you to Sharon who helped us learn the ropes in the dining room, and to Valentyna who worked patiently with Mum until she found the perfect suite.

Update August 2022 - we moved my Dad into Chartwell Churchill House 2.5 years ago, and couldn't be happier. He has continued to thrive, he is happy and healthy and has made so many wonderful friends. I can't say enough great things about all of the staff - they are truly amazing and I am so grateful to all of them for creating such a safe and fun environment. They have been such a great support not only to my Dad but to me and my family as well. I love them all. It was Dad's 92nd birthday recently, and I had wanted to do something special to celebrate with him, but ended up being sick and was unable to. Rhona and the staff went out of their way to create a very special celebration for him and then she sent me photos and videos that I could see while isolating and share with my family. This is truly a very special place that helps tremendously to take the pressure off of me while I work and take care of other family members as well. I never worry about Dad knowing he is in such good hands and so happy at Churchill House. Thanks again from the bottom of my heart! <3August 2020We moved my elderly father into Chartwell Churchill House a few months ago and I have been completely blown away by the kindness and support from both the incredible staff and the residents! I couldn't be happier and more grateful for the opportunity for our family to become part of this wonderful community.Everyone has been so helpful and welcoming! All of the staff are amazing - kind, patient, friendly, caring and supportive. I want to name each one individually but afraid I will leave someone out. If you are looking for a retirement home for a loved one, I highly recommend Chartwell Churchill House.There are many great photos on the website and I have uploaded a few from my Dad's suite to show how we have been able to re-create his home there. He has settled in beautifully, enjoys the wonderful meals, has made new friends and is safe and happy.He recently celebrated his 90th birthday, and the staff arranged a wonderful celebration to honour him. My mother recently moved into Churchill House and I had the opportunity to spend time with her at the residence over several weeks. I was quite impressed with the welcome and friendliness of staff and residents from her first day there. Staff addressed her by name, were helpful with information and services, and attentive to her needs. When my mother accidentally pushed her health alert, staff were there within minutes. We were both delighted by the quality & freshness of the meals and friendliness of the serving staff. The car service allows her to get to important medical and social events with ease. I feel confident that both my mother's health and emotional well-being will improve substantially living at Churchill House.

Ever since moving into Churchill House two months ago, Marlene and I have really enjoyed ourselves.The service staff are second to none, very helpful and very courteous.The food for the most part has been excellent.The other retiree's living here are very pleasant to be with and talk to.We have mentioned to many of our friends and family about how much we enjoy living here and hope it continues for many years to come............ Jim and Marlene
