6.85 for 85 cents of mediocre breadEdit: I cut into the bread and it is clear they are using hydration techniques to inflate volume and cut down on costs in their sandwich bread. The dough was clearly over-proofed, the shaping was half-hearted, the crumb is uneven and overly chewy. There is a core of unmixed flour in the centre of the loaf. I will be returning this, as it is virtually inedible.

The owner is so fantastic and very knowledgeable. She will take the time to go through the ingredients of things for you. They also have good vegan options. All their patties and bread are vegan along with 3 dessert options

Very good bread, and very friendly staff! They offer discounts for day old bread on Sundays and Monday which is great for budgeting. Their mocha brownie is one of my favourites

Drove by this morning. Wanted to try a new place. Name rung a bell so I said why not… wish I hadn’t. Was not fresh. Bread and pastries seemed to be old. Did not smell like a bakery that had baked fresh things in store. Will not be back.

One of the best fresh croissants in the city but the samosas I got were dry and definitely not fresh. Even warmed up. Granted it was a Monday. But they should taste their products before selling them. Or sell them at a discount perhaps?!Also the price of a croissant is quite high. $2.85. Each. But it was still warm and buttery and flaky! Yum

I ordered a birthday cake from them. The cake was light, tasted good, not too sweet, and liked by every one of my guests!(Sorry, no photo the cake disappeared too quickly!)

I wanted to like it, I really did. The food here is overpriced and vastly under delivers. I had a butter tart that may have been the worst I've ever had.

Have stopped by a couple times. Thr first time I got a couple pastries and they were absolutely delicious, the second time I just got a loaf of whute bread which I'm currently enjoying with some peanut butter. It's clearly fresh and tastes fantastic. I will certainly be back much more in the future, as the prices are fair and affordable.

I would love to support this local business, but $6 for a non-fresh (baked yesterday) loaf of bread is not competitive or reasonable. I can get fresh-baked bread for $5 elsewhere in the city, though outside of my neighbourhood.
