Cedarhurst Salon and Spa

Just had an amazing spa pedicure with Preet. She was so professional and gentle. Her work was so neat and she was so lovely to chat with. Will definitely be booking back with her! Highly recommend Preet and Cedarhurst.

I have been receiving spa treatments from Julie at Cedarhurst for many years and it’s always a very positive experience. Not only does she do a great job but I really enjoy her company.I have also received massage treatments from Becky and would say the same about her.The ambience at Cedarhurst is cozy and inviting. Kathy’s gardens are so beautiful and bring a sense of calm even before you’ve walked through the front door.The staff is knowledgeable, fun, very friendly and accommodating.I would highly recommend treating yourself to a visit here.

I go for facials every month or so and it’s always on point! Preet is competent and knows what she’s doing. My only feedback is please have a sunscreen handy after the treatment if you’re heading out.

Appalled. My daughter, who is 20 years old, visited the salon October 27, 2022. She was shamed and ridiculed. The manicurist told her she had facial fine lines, pre mature aging skin, neck wrinkles, and that her poor diet was the reason for her forehead acne. My daughter has a skin condition and in no way needs to be reminded of it while trying to relax at a spa.The negative remarks did not end there. Her job, University course, and eating habits were also targeted and commented on.All of the above are extremely inappropriate and unprofessional. A spa should be a place to relax and recharge, not to be put down and disrespected.My daughter was extremely upset and anxious the rest of the day.I tried to call numerous times since then (did not leave a voicemail as I wanted to speak to someone) and then emailed to discuss these issues with the owner. Kathy replied to my email and set a date and time to discuss on the phone. The time selected, was to her avail. I did not receive a call or an email on the set date and time. No explanation.I would never recommend this spa to anyone, especially those struggling with their mental health.The services were average, therefore the one star. Customer service, atmosphere, and experience, disgusted.

I'm totally thrilled with the experience I had over the phone with purchasing a gift certificate for Christmas! Kathy was amazingly awesome, kind and thorough! I can't wait for the gift to be redeemed!

Had pedicures and a shellac manicure. The ladies who worked on us were absolutely lovely. It was a pleasure to be there with them. My mom and my daughter and I all had a fabulous time. 2 weeks later and the shellac is still perfect as well as our toes. Thank you, cedarhurst for a wonderful experience again.

I went here just before Christmas I saw Elsa and she was absolutely fantastic from massage to manicure to pedicure. She gave me snacks while I had my pedi and tea when I had my mani. I cannot express enough what fantastic service I got while I was there. My shellac lasted way longer than it has from other places. The prices are very comparable and you get that full spa feeling the whole place is beautiful from top to bottom.

Having thin light coloured eyebrows has been troublesome my entire life.Preet,thru her professional expertise, gave me the perfect brow. So appreciate having a perfectly shaped and coloured brow.Thank you

I booked the “time for you” package with the gift certificate my husband got me. When he purchased the gift he expressed his (and my) concerns in regards to massage because of the issues with my lower back and he was assured that they have registered massage therapists and there was nothing to worry about. Halfway through my massage, after letting her know the issues with my back she told me she was just an esthetician that did relaxation massages and that if something hurt to let her know. If something suddenly hurts in my lower back, that would result in me not being able to walk for a couple of days. My husband was not told when purchasing that relaxation massages (in the chosen package) were done by an esthetician not a therapist. The facial was nice although there was an excessive use of product. It was in my hair and the moisturizer was drying in clumps around my jaw and ears and was coming off in big white marks on my shirt and coat. Even had a large flaky spot on my forehead by the time I got home. The pedicure was ok, although I had to get her to stop at one point because the excessive scrubbing on the top of my foot was hurting and overly irritated. Manicure was ok too. Both had a nice selection of products and a huge selection of colours. The girl doing my spa day had only been an esthetician for about 7 months and other than the excessive use of product and excessive scrubbing on my feet she did a really good job. She was nice and friendly and did her best to make sure I had a good experience. The ambiance of the place was nice although there were tons of battery operated candles everywhere but none of them were on. That seemed odd. Overall it was an experience I’m glad I had but just wasn’t for me. I was looking forward to the massage the most to see if it would relieve some of my back pain and was very disappointed that it wasn’t a registered massage therapist doing the massage.My reasoning for not returning are not the services themselves (although some were a little disappointing) but that facials and pedicures just aren’t for me.
