With no real intent we came across this store in Eaton Centre and was very surprised at its unique collection of bags, cases and the likes.Friendly greeting by the customer service rep in store and after some hand sanitizing got down to browsing their collections.Love the uniqueness of offerings and ability to engrave / customize labels for cases and bags.Pleasant shopping experience.

I called to check if an item was in stock. I was firstly told the wrong price and then told to order it online since they didn't have any. I tried calling the other downtown store which was much friendlier and said it'd be faster for the store to order it in rather than buying it online!

Employees very Rude and Disgruntled. Bad shopping experience days before my flight. Needed new luggage and staff very unhelpful.

A story from Calgary store.I received a TUMI bag during Christmas from a friend whom continue to brainwash me to joining the TUMI gang because he enjoys their products so much. However this bag I received was too small to fit my pilot gears, so I went to this chinook store and hope to exchange for a larger product. The exchange was denied because the bag had one small scratch on the leather, and no receipt. What's more upsetting was the manager's tone was so condescending that she was questioning my integrity when I said the item was new. The last time I've experienced something similar was at Sears 8 years ago. (Later I found out I arrived 5:20pm, 10 mins before her shift ends. In that case, I'd forgive her for being condescending, because a minute spent on me means 2 more minutes stuck in traffic.)Upon more findings, I found Harry Rosen's sales team could sell TUMI products and respect their customers at the same time; Nordstorm could sell TUMI products and have a generous return policy with no time limit and no questions asked. Both stores are within a walkable distance of 2 mins.TUMI really did a great job controlling servicing quality and expanded brand awareness by opening up their own full-price premium stores. Great job driving these traffic to your partners! Oh yeah, sales from your partners are going to drive healthy EBITDA next year too! And yeah, Tim Parker from Samsonite will think TUMI store network is a great success, from EBITDA. Nobody would ever find out your staff is your brand's biggest bottleneck.At the end of the day, I went to the good old HR, found a luggage called Rimowa that fits all my travel gears together. The quality of these products are amazing. I’ve tried a couple of their competitors in the longest lasting bags seem to be from the store. Their customer service is also beyond exceptional and I look forward to buying more bags from them in the future. Keep in mind that the price point is higher than the average bag!

Approximately 6:30pm today, I went into the Tumi store at the Eaton Centre location as a red bag caught my eye. I was interested in purchasing the bag but, could not get the attention of a sales clerk as she was busy helping another customer. It was fine as l wanted to look around the store a few more minutes. After 10 minutes, the female clerk still had not acknowledged me and moreover, I found a knapsack I also wanted to purchase. I continued to wait politely for the sales clerk to finish with a customer with no avail. They continued to socialize! By then, I made up my mind I was not going to purchase the bags at this location.I am going to Sherway location to purchase these bags as the sale clerks there acknowledge their customers. I hope the Manager at Eaton Centre is aware of this sales clerk's behaviour. I am sure I am not the only customer who has experienced such appalling behaviour. I do not recommend this location due to the terrible customer service.

The service and staff are great but I fail to see the value proposition in their products. If you are looking for value in luggage, take your money elsewhere.

If i could give you a zero star i would. I don’t use fancy clothes but i could pay for a good product. As i got in your store the human in your store looked at me like i am a shoplifter. I just left and went to Nordstrom where i was treated nicely. One day i will just walk by and your store is close and up for lease.
