I got a haircut at Sunsera on 8th St on Sunday. It was a horrible experience.I decided to try this salon because it’s so close to where I live.I was seen by a guy, I think his name was Tony (I might be wrong).His technique was atrocious - honestly there wasn’t one. He said he’s been doing hair for 35 years but trust me when I say it seemed like he’d been doing it for 35 MINUTES tops.He took off way more length than we agreed on, I provided a reference photo and left it open on my phone the entire hair cut. My hair looks absolutely nothing like it.My hair is choppy, uneven, weirdly short in some parts with random longer pieces of hair. The layers are incredibly inconsistent.I have never cried over a hair cut but this one caused that reaction. I spent $50 to have my hair ruined and now have to pay to get it fixed by an actually good stylist.DO NOT GO HERE for hair cuts. Save yourself from throwing money to look ridiculous when you leave the salon.I usually go to Luxe - and trust me when I say I will NEVER try a different salon again no matter how convenient the location is.

I haven't been to Sunsera in years. I recently asked to be removed from their mailing list, but continue to receive monthly newsletters via e-mail. To add, I noticed that all the recipients' e-mail addresses were visible, so I also made them (whoever is sending out the e-mails) aware of their breach of privacy and that they should be BCCing everyone. The following month(s), I noticed that they were now BCCing everyone; however, I am still on the list, despite asking twice to be removed. I know I can easily block the e-mail address, but there should be an option to opt out of e-mails if you are no longer interested. Thank you.

The technicians completing our pedicures were friendly and did a good job; however, the front staff manning reception were unwelcoming and unfriendly. They carried on conversations with fellow staff while attending to us, gave no greetings and provided no kind salutations. Body language and facial expressions speak thousands of words, we did not feel like we were treated as if we were paying customers and had an unpleasant experience as a result. In addition when booking appointments I requested the price for a pedi she said 80$ I booked a shellac pedi and she never informed me that the price of a shellac pedi was $100. Invoice/receipt has no info about services provided.Overall: nails techs nice, but shellac pedi expensive. Rude front end staff unpleasant as a result we will not be returning or recommending.P.S. these rules about groupon seem to go agains the intent of groupon

I came in and had an awesome experience with the receptionist Caitlin she was extremely friendly and helped me find all the right products I needed! I highly recommend this location for the friendly staff clean atmosphere and the great products! 10/10

If you like to throw your hard earned money in trash then go to sunseraI can say they are the thievesThey have ways to not return your money for the services they are not done.Even they will charge your money for your friends service.They will make you cry for sure

I am extremely unsatisfied with the service I received at Sunsera on 8th st. Mia did color my hair.. She only had to do color and no bleaching. She colored my roots with a lighter color that did not match with my real hair color. She colored 2 times and still not the right color. She charged me $160 just for color even though I dint have very long hair.My hair have been very rough and shading after color. Color is already fading as well. I phoned and wanted to talk to her but its been 2 weeks… havent gotten a call back.

I went in as a newbie to tanning, and my experience couldn’t have been better! The receptionist was super friendly and helpful. She gave some recommendations and walked me through the whole process so I knew what to expect. Overall I would definitely recommend this location for anyone looking to build their tan during this Saskatchewan winter!

My haircut was great until my curls died down. I had 3 inch layers. Went to another salon and the stylist said she did not even blend the hair. Very bad cut. I only asked for a trim since I was growing out my hair for a year, and now it’s a little past my collarbone thanks to this mistake! I will not be going back.

First time getting my nails done at Sunsera Salon. I called at 1:50 pm to see when I could book an appointment and I was able to get in at 2:00 pm same day. Sara was my technician and she did a great job! The price of $60 for a gel fill is a bit steep considering the average nail fill is lower than that. Overall, I'm satisfied.
