Piper Arms Pub Waterloo
I enjoyed my Chicken Curry. And we also enjoyed the small plater, salad and pasta.I was pleasantly surprised by the many options they had. Pretty well a couple pages of items in each section, like for appetizers, pastas, burgers and wraps etc.

Got the spaghetti and meatballs, which was pretty terrible, sweet sugary sauce and tasteless meatballs with a dab of congealed cheese on top. The salad had a huge curly hair in it that grossed us out so much, my guests and I stopped eating completely. Never getting food here again!

Frozen Ribs?I ordered the half slab of ribs and 1lb chicken wings. The fries were excellent, the wings weren't great, and the ribs were awful... They seem like frozen ribs with sauce slathered on after it was cooked. Very tough and unappetizing.Update: This waterloo location consistently provides sub par food. The kitchener location is much better. Downgrading from 2 stars to 1!

The food was definitely above average though nothing too spectacular. Their menu was absolutely huge so no shortage of options to choose from. The service was also very nice and the place was clean and we'll kept. I would recommend this place looking for a nice easy place to eat in Waterloo.

We went to Piper Arms Pub in Uptown Waterloo on a weekend afternoon. We went as a big group and it was a great atmosphere to chat with others as it wasn’t too busy. Our waiter was patient and kind when taking our order.To share we got the Spinach Artichoke Dip ($13) and it was delicious, highly recommend! We also got a french onion soup ($7) and 1lb Wings, fries, and dip ($15) - Cesar garlic parmesan which were both really good and great portion for the price. The Chicken Carbonara ($19) was really good as well, creamy and flavourful. The chicken was a bit dry, but not too bad. The pasta was really big and could easily be two meals for someone that doesn’t eat too much.Overall, big potions at a decent price point. Food was tasty and a great place to hang out with friends. I feel like this place often gets overlooked since it is right next to BeerTown but definitely recommend checking it out!

My husband and I came here for the first time on a recommendation, and we were not disappointed! They have a big menu, and the food was delicious and adequately priced. Also, despite being the only server staffed for the whole restaurant, our server Annisa was quick and very pleasant! She deserves to be recognized for the amazing job she does. We’ll be coming back here next time we’re in town.
