If you google Rona and dogs, they say they're dog friendly nationally. There's a sign on their door that says no pets. If you're looking to shop with your pooch just go to Canadian Tire, the prices are lower anyway and you won't see pictures of sheep on the windows depicting people who want to wear a mask on public.

The staff are super friendly and always professional. I love how they address your needs and will accolade on price when they can, overall it's a great shopping experience :)

The staff are always friendly and helpful. Shelly is amazing!! She has built a number of animal shelters for us, and the quality of her work is awesome! Would highly recommend her for any of your pets needs in terms of shelters!

I purchased a product at Rona on February 28th, 2022. I was surprised at the price, $27.99, and stated so to the cashier. I was given the brush off.I checked my files, and found that I had purchased the same product in Bonnyville at the Co-op center for $16.99. I created a complaint on the online portal. I received an automatic reply with a case number (CAS-1347294-B8F9H1). I was never contacted again.I contacted Donald Frieson, Executive Vice President Supply Chain of Lowes. He responded with an apology, that he would contact the 'Canadian Team'. There has been no follow up from anyone. I have not been back to Rona since. I don't shop at Lowes either anymore. Pretty easy to lose a customer.

Very knowledgable staff that are willing to help with any project and even give some great alternatives to the plan you originally had. Staff are always very friendly and extremely helpful. You also dont have to go searching for help. They are always close by and ready to lend a helping hand! Good variety of products that are averagely priced.

If it’s not the terrible quality lumber that disappoints you, the customer service will do it. Only a handful of employees that are pleasant to deal with.We went in to buy a patio set that was listed on-sale on Rona.ca but upon arriving to the store we found it was listed at regular price. We showed a helpful associate that it was indeed on-sale online, to which they agreed to match the sale price, which was awesome.They said they have to sell us the floor model because they had none in stock, they cannot order any from other stores/warehouses and what they receive is all they get, which was also fine by us.But when we asked about potentially getting a discount on the floor display model the associate told us they couldn’t offer us a discount. Then a separate associate jumps in to say “well you should be lucky we’re not charging you $40 for assembly fee”. So we asked if the manager could make us a deal (a common practice on floor model products), the associate called the manager and was told to tell us “No”. The owner/manager wouldn’t even take a moment to come meet us personally, wouldn’t talk to us on the phone and simply refused to discuss discounting a floor model set.Now we didn’t go in demanding a discount but I feel as a matter of principle most managers discount floor model products.

Service is always good there but misleading the Canadian public into believing your Canadian when your a large American company called Lowe’s misinforming us is annoying at least. Haven’t entered the building since. I was trying to find a picture of the sign indicating how Canadian they are but they have all been removed after the CBC marketplace expose.

By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced on two separate occasions. The first experience was when they sold me a damaged hot water heater and the owner tried to blame me for damaging it. The second was when they took my window measurements and ordered the wrong size windows. They ordered them all 1.5 inches to small. When I went back to the store with them they said there was nothing that they could do. The owner would not even come out to talk with me. I would not spend another nickel in this store and would not recommend it to anyone. Most of the employees are pretty good but the owner would not know customer service if it hit him in the face.

I didn’t like walking into the store with a picture of a sheep crossed out. I found it very disrespectful and I noticed that no one was enforcing the mask mandate so sorry RONA you have lost a customer.

Jen in the paint and supplies section is INCREDIBLE!! She really knows her stuff. Is professional, personable and funny to boot. I left my name and number for when the paint I’m using went on sale and she called me today a month later to let me know!
