Beautiful and quiet! The owners were very helpful and friendly. The snack shack had a good selection, including bug spray, and we liked that they had outdoor games like bean toss. Really appreciated the washroom access, proper washroom and also clean outhouse with working sink. Loved seeing the fry swim and frogs/toads around the dock. Lots of lovely and interesting flora, including pitcher plants! Awesome views kayaking down the river trails from the lake and so many stars at night!

Had a great experience! Owner was extremely accommodating, from us having to adjust our dates to checking in with us on our ETA for arrival when we got lost and took longer to get here! Forgot to take a photo of our site, but dimensions were included during booking which all was great and super user friendly.I added photos of the restroom to show as we found it very clean and well kept compared to most restrooms, well stocked. Hot water was instant! There was a shower which we did not get to use, but I’m sure would’ve heated quick!It was a stop on our way across the country, but we would come back again!

If you want to be away from the crowds, but close enough to conveniences this is the place to be. The owners and family were very kind, respectful and helpful. Bathroom and shower was clean. A well kept campground. Very close to the canyon park. This place helped me relax and slow down. There is plenty of wildlife, and flowers to see. If you are a rock hound. This is a must place to begin your adventure and find hidden gems. Bring your binoculars, your reading books and a sleeping bag. Wake up to a good cup of coffee or cider in the morning. I will be back.
