Update: The last time I was in I had a nice lady who was pregnant. The only room open for me to use was a room with a bed, not a chair. She could not get the bed to raise and realized it was unplugged. She opened the door and asked a older woman (short hair...and I think she had glasses on) about the table. Right away this person is snippy and says it is broken. The nice lady I had said it would too difficult for her to bend over the bed as she was far along in her pregnancy. Well, this other female snapped at her. I felt so bad. I felt terrible that the nice pregnant lady was talked to that way. You should have seen the look on her face. I apologized..I felt so bad for her. That taller, older person is miserable. She did the blood work for me. She wasn't going to say anything else to anyone now and just do the blood work. I wish her the very best and I hope her family has a wonderful and healthy addition to their family.It is horrible to work with people who have miserable personalities.Wednesday 12:38. I just had blood work done at the lab. I cannot deal with needles or blood. I've been dreading getting it done. The lady I had in unit 1 was very nice and understanding. She talked me through it and was quick. Thank you

Despite me being ticked off" like I had already been seen

Fantastic location. I didn’t wait long for a walk-in appointment. The staff were friendly, and my nurse Chris was absolutely phenomenal. I notified them that I usually feel faint immediately after blood work, and they talked to me the whole time and I hadn’t even realized they were done. Astounding bedside manner and very personable. This is the only lifelabs I will visit from now on.

Wonderful experience today upon taking my elderly Dad for an ecg today. First we went to Life Labs at AMC and had a terrible experience (review written). However, the staff at Shellington Place were wonderful. Accommodated my Dad on a walk in basis. This was at approximately 12:15 pm, he waited no more than 2 minutes. From the receptionist who greeted us to the lady that did the ecg, both were so personable. I will never go anywhere else than the lab at Shellington Place. Worth the drive. Highly recommend.Thank you so much.

The staff at this lifelab location is beyond amazing. I unfortunately do not do well with blood work and happened to faint at my last visit. The team was beyond phenomenal in taking care of me and ensuring the entire process was as easy as possible. My nurse was gentle with me when taking the blood work - everything was going so well until the very end when we were putting the bandaid on - I do have a history of fainting, there was nothing the nurses could do. The team of nurses that took care of me afterwards were so kind and understanding. Highly recommend this location. I cant thank the team of nurses enough for their kindness.

Very helpful , it's busy but you move quick . They tell you how long and they put names up to warn you. Could have been much worse

Once again they screwed up kidney function test, incompetent and run by poorly trained people who just don’t care!

Professional, patient and friendly. I waited for my bloodwork for around 20 minutes. The taking of the blood sample was probably the easiest and fastest I’ve ever experienced. Usually a nurse pokes to find a vein 3 times before results but this nurse from BC did it in one and in minutes. Thanks
