Roadside Eatery

Stopped by while out on my motorcycle in the summer. Got a burger and fries I found service was good and the burger was excellent I see alot of bad reviews but from my experience have absolutely no complaints

I don’t know what everybody is talking about lol. This is hands down the best chip truck in the area. Everyone I know drives all the way out of town to get it. I can see he’s upset a few people but I know he has problems finding and keeping staff so he’s probably overworked. I’m sure there are slow days where he can end up working 8 hours and only making $50. I’d be grumpy too. But don’t kid yourself this is hands down the best chip truck in town! As for his customer service, I’ve never had any problems with him at all. And to be honest it’s the best chip truck so even if I did I’d still go Lolol. No one else compares - their mushroom burger & loaded fries are out of this WORLD.

It’s extremely rare that I give a 1 star rating but the quality of the food and the horrible customer service speaks for itself. At the time I ordered there was no one around so a little bit more time and effort could have been taken to prepare my frozen burger. The fries were hot, but tasted like they were refried. As a unwanted bonus, owner is pretty rude as well. At least in Seinfields Soup Nutsy episode, the guy was curt, but he had good soup. Roadside Eatery guy has neither. My only suggestion drive another 5 minutes and go to Atherley Diner or Hermies and get a delicious made fresh homemade burger.

If I could give this place a zero star review I absolutely would. Not only was the food unsatisfactory (the ribs were dry and tasteless) but the owner yelled at my son for asking if they had root beer. He was only 4 and he leaned over the ledge and shouted at him, Do you see Rootbeer on the sign????" I said

Loved the food, and best fries I’ve ever had.

My last visit was not a great experience but I thought I would try again.I ordered a medium fry and service was pretty quick.Fries were handed to my husband but no forks or napkins.I approached window which was closed and tapped on window and said “excuse me”. The owner opened the window and I asked for forks and napkins.He then says to me , “ this is not McDonalds you know, and this won’t last long because you know what’s happening right ?”I say,” yes no more plastic!”He says right, then hands me what I requested.The lady in front of me had an order and he stabbed the top of container with a fork?This guy is rude, I will never be back !He needs to read his reviews !

Used to love going to this place until the last few times the customer service and the food was horrible. I went there and thought I would try it and give it one last chance but it was the worst experience yet. He was so rude to me and my friend I don’t know if it was because we are younger adults but he was just plain rude. He got angry when I couldn’t decide on my order fast enough and when my friend went to order her food he straight up said to her that she could ‘atleast have some manners while ordering food’ and pretty much told her to say please and thank you or he wouldn’t take our order; I was shocked. If I wasn’t so hungry I would of just went down the road to patti wagon which I should of just done in the first place. And the food was horrible. Never will I go back.

Food was good. We got a family size poutine which fed three adults and 2 little ones. Prices were fair for road side chip truck. Lots of space to sit and eat. Open daily from 11-7. Customer service could have been a little better, guy at window wasn’t the friendliest

Wade was very generous and outgoing customer service. Truly knows how to connect with his clients. Hospitality of a true caring owner.
