We always stay there when we travel that way. The staff and rooms are great. The restaurant food is amazing. It's always a pleasure going there.

Had a brunch there on the weekend.Nice presentation, fresh, served hot and a nice change, satisfying.The waitress was clean, friendly and delivered our meals hot.Clean carpet, windows, table and chairs.Thank you

Firstly, inside and outside the building is falling apart. The carpets in many rooms are as old as the building itself and have dangerous mounds and creases in them. There is black mold throughout the hotel on every floor and nearly every room which was covered up (but never fully removed) by “fresh” drywall, paint and drop ceilings. Jason at the front desk was very pleasant and enjoyed dealing with him. The front desk management was a little disappointing. I overheard how she spoke about other guests and staff as if they were sub-human… overheard other hotel staff members including housekeeping be brought to tears over their treatment there! No wonder the building looks like it’s falling apart… because it is and the staff are being victimized for it and we the public have to suffer horrible accommodations brought on by poor management. I’ve had a few stays here and it’s worse every time! They don’t care about their staff and they definitely don’t care about their guests otherwise they wouldn’t charge guests more than the Marriott to stay in a moldy sub par pre 90’s death trap!!!! I will never be coming back and will be informing everyone I know about that hotel. The only two great things I experienced during my stays were the Cavalier Restaurants amazing food and how helpful, virtuous and understanding the housekeeping staff were despite how they are treated!

Kingston sets the bar pretty low for hotel cleanliness in my experience. (Going at least once a year for the last 20-ish years!). This one was particularly gross. The patio door didn't lock. Carpet was bunched up and smelled musty. Rooms smelled of cigarette. Bathroom had ants and centipedes, gross ceiling and wall surfaces condition. I won't be going back!

Room dirty, coffee stain on the bed sheet. Then we move to an other room, dirty as well, however the receptionist did her best to solve the problem.

The staff at this hotel was 5 stars bringing this review up to 3. The owner of this establishment should be on notice as all the reviews I read prior row writing my own are the same thing and all true, great staff very accommodating and friendly, good location old building needs many updates and investments that should be made by ownership, or the price needs to be reduced. I would try another option in the area before I return to this Hotel. The pool and hot tub where good and clean I will add that, I never use them but the sauna was down for repairs.

we stay for two nights. They gave us a room in the first floor.the carpet was wet, and the room has poor ventilation.Since it was in the first floor we couldn't open the window due to privacy. The room was dark, not enough lighting.Breakfast was not included. The picture you see on the website is probably the picture when they open for first time. As the place is rundown and dirty.The front desk employees need a training on how to treat customers. Their service was basic. zero customer service from them.They advertises refrigerator and microwave in suite. For those customer with kids and you need microwave to warm up milk...you will need to go from your room all the way to the lobby to warm up milk. As that's where the microwave is located.only the pool was decent ... but I will never stay there again.

Awesome place. We went down the day before my surgery was booked n to our surprise we were given a great discount because we were in town for hospital reasons n they said most places offer such things for hospital patients etc. Bed was very compfy. Pool was warm. Just all around great place to go with or without children or reasons.
