I go there on the first Saturday of each month for their Cat Cafe event from 11-3. I love being with the cats while having coffee and treats. Last time, I got to hold a couple kittens. If you want to have a cat cafe experience, head on down and don't forget to bring donations.

Everyone who works or volunteers here has nothing but love for animals. It's clean, organized, and accessible. They don't have much to work with, but they make the most of what they do have.

Extremely rude and the staff doesn’t seem to have the same information. Blatantly called my bf a liar to me and directly to him after he was given different information by two different people on different days, including the director. Unhelpful, didn’t seem to care about the welfare of an animal that was starving, covered in ticks, found wandering a highway in the middle of nowhere, late at night where the dog would have likely died. Would give them zero stars if it were available, I would not trust them to be honest about the care of the animals in the shelter. The staff seems poorly educated if they can’t even give the same information. We understand there are laws per county and state… but wow, it seems unethical to leave a dog like that out in the woods, right? We were trying all avenues to get this dog somewhere safe, where there would be proper care, including the area she was found… including a trip to a local vet’s office that is aware of the situation as well… and instead we were treated like trash by Wild Rivers. Yikes. Yikes.

Great clean facility, got a private tour as no one was there but staff and a vet. Had 7-8 dogs in a spotless indoor area. Very good conditions compared to other Rescues. We ended up rescuing a beautiful & healthy dog.

We've adopted 4 cats from this facility, and are very happy with all of them. The facility itself is clean and well organized. The animals are clean, healthy, and ready for a new home with vaccinations and spaying/neutering. They've been seen by a local vet and have a free examination after adoption. Wild Rivers is a gem!
